myLot vs. every other 'earning' site on the entire Internet

I see myLot get compared to many other sites about 'earnings' and whether other sites are 'faster', and I see many times people mentioning how 'slow' earnings are on myLot.
This is basically comparing apples and oranges.
Yes, they are both fruits, but that is all they have in common.
That is all myLot has in common with 'earning sites'...they are sites. Other than that, they are not alike at all.
Earning sites are for the particular purpose of earning. That is why they exist.
myLot is for the particular purpose of talking. That is why it exists.
Yes, you get a very small cash incentive to talk here, but the site is not meant to be an earning site. And people should understand that simply because it takes so long and so much time spent here to earn anything 'decent'.
If you are online for money, your time is best spent on sites that are made for the purpose of earning money.
I know a few people will debate this, but it is true.
myLot most likely is not worth the money if money is what you want.

Yep. Especially on other sites, where myLot gets promoted as an 'earning site' time and again.

I don't waste my time on those "earning sites" anymore - super boring doing mindless things. Here, I can at least have an online social life . . . have a chat with friends, stretch my mind, and actually enjoy being here. Any bit of change we get is simply a nice bonus

@rebelann Honestly, every little bit helps, right? I used to do those video thingies, surveys, games, and some offers . . . but at some point I just realized I can't sit here doing that stuff. I actually made quite a bit monthly . . . but then I got NOTHING done around the house - bad me. So I just quit it all . . . except for these sites where I could write/chat . . . I enjoy and get a lot out of talking with friends like you

You're right. I haven't gotten a thing done around here because I've been trying to supplement my income but I'm only active on 2 other sites besides this one and boy are they time consuming.
I do enjoy talking to you and some of the other mylotters but I think I'm about ready to give myself a vacation for a while so I can actually get some work done. Besides, Roscoe is so jealous of the computer, I've never had a kritter get as jealous as he does.
I will always be back here no matter what and if I don't see anything new in your discussions I'll find an old one like this to comment on. It's fun.

myLot is good for me because I can write about movies and travel etc and earn a few cents as receive feedback. Earning sites are usually just do surveys and tasks and the few remaining writing sites you are assigned a task to do.

I'm giving up wasting my breath trying to explain on different sites that it's all about talking/communicating. The Interweb is just too big, and people are too stubborn.

Its the only site that has stayed put in one place for me at least and being from this country I am in there are not any sites at all in Spanish that you can trust either so I come here.

Yes, I do reviews on all kinds of sites and most of them are passive income sites like MyLot. However, there are some that pays nicely if you're a writer.

if they have already found sites that pay them well for every word they post, then they should spend more time there. why keep coming back and expecting something else? move on already.

Spending a lot of hours in a day to earn a few bucks is definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Yes I get that and earning money for doing something fun as chatting, sharing ideas, expressing opinions is quite good enough without complaining that we don't earn much. I do love it personally. A lot.
