~That Strange Noise~

Rooster at my house

Good morning everyone! I hope you're doing amazing and I pray you know my Father in heaven loves you. =) I woke up early this morning and I heard the strangest noise that I have not heard before. It sounded like sticks hitting the metal roof but the wind wasn't blowing so hmmm... I finally get off my hiney to find the chickens on the roof! They were going on the roof to the ground over and over again. Is this some kind of game for them?? Anyway, I thought it was cute and now I am going to get some COFFEE!! Once I have my coffee I will do my devotions and get ready for the day. =) My husband is at work and the job has been going well so far! The kids are so very happy here, they love exploring and there's plenty to check out! Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day! =) If you need prayers let me know. Picture is of the rooster in our yard

@Ladyduck Nah, our mobile home isn't very high off the ground and lots of chickens like to perch high.

Well, chickens do have small bird brains, so there's no telling what's going through their mind as they go up and down from the roof to the ground (hey, that rhymed haha). Do you have a lot of land around your house? I remember growing up my brother and I would spend hours and hours each day exploring the woods around our home. We never got tired of exploring. I hope your kids have that same enthusiasm for learning about the great outdoors.

@moffittjc We have a HUGE yard!! The front yard is an acre! Lol. My kids LOVE exploring here too, we have woods and a creek on our property that they check every single day!! They found this while exploring one day.

@LovingMyBabies Is that a deer skull, or a cow skull? It looks like a deer skull. That's awesome that you have so much land, and a creek as well! Creeks are so fun to play in, and to explore!

Are they Super-chickens? Most can't get more than a couple feet off the ground. And it looks like that rooster wants to do some tile cutting.
