Finally our first camping trip after 3 years!

It was so much fun. It felt good to get out camping again. I needed this! We did have a thunder and lightening storm and a tornado warning on Saturday afternoon but we didn't let it ruin our day. We spent the day on the beach and when it began to rain we got in the truck and went down and parked on the point by the lighthouse and watched the lightening show.
In the evening we went to a dance that they were having at the campground rec center and got some dancing in which was a lot of fun then we went back to our campsite and had a campfire and stayed up talking until 3:30am. In the morning we cooked an awesome breakfast over the campfire and spent the day of the beach before we headed back home.
Looking forward to doing more of this in the coming weeks. Hope you all had enjoyed your weekend as much as I enjoyed mine!

Glad you got to go camping. I enjoy camping too, but don't think I am up for crawling into a tent anymore. Maybe I will do a cabin though.

We only got out camping twice this summer. We were hoping for more but we were having problems with our truck. Finally have it fixed now and summer is all but over. :(
