Hope everyone is doing OK.
Our microwave bit the dust; and we received our new one on April 9. It was a good buy and is stainless steel to match our other appliances. However, you need a pilot's license to operate all the new dials and buttons.
Our little housekeeper is feeling better; but she still hasn't been over to clean. She's very busy with her life, especially since she now has her real estate license. I hope she doesn't get too busy that she can't clean for us.
I had a routine doctor's appointment yesterday. Apparently most of the patients are still having their appointments online because the waiting room was empty. We were supposed to go to Texas Roadhouse after the appointment. Even though it was only 3:30 pm, TR was packed; and there was a wait of 25 minutes for a booth. Also, there was no place for me to sit. They wanted us to wait in the car; and they would call us. We decided not to wait. We always look forward to going to TR; so it was a big disappointment. We ended up going to Longhorn Steakhouse. I had my usual chicken tenders; and hubs had his usual steak. Fortunately the meal was really good; and I had enough PayPal money to pay for the meal.
Nothing much else going on. Nothing happening with the other house. I hear that the market for sellers is red-hot. Too bad we can't take advantage of that. I'll keep pushing and trying. Maybe one day hubs will go over there so that we can start calling cash buying companies.
What's new with you? I hope you are scheduled to get your COVID-19 vaccinations or have already received them. Since you can still catch and transmit the virus, we are wearing our masks, etc.

I've never been to the Texas Roadhouse, but heard it's really good. Longhorn Steakhouse I've seen one in Saginaw, but never ate there. Real Estate is selling quickly. Both my nephew and grandson sold their home, in about a week's time. Yes, Jay got his second COVID shot today. My second shot was April 1st. We still wear a mask in public places and observe social distancing. Stay safe, Linda!

I'm glad you both have your shots. I hope we are able to sell our home at an acceptable price. We are selling to flippers for cash; so we will take a loss but will be DONE with it!

The market is red hot for sellers. You may not see much of your little helper now. Now is the time to put your other house on the market.
Glad you found a new microwave. Once you get used to the bells and whistles, you’ll be great at using it.
Happy you had a nice dinner out. Even though we are fully vaccinated, I won’t go inside a restaurant to eat, especially a busy one.

Luckily microwaves are cheap nowadays. But it still stinks to have to replace things sometimes. As for the housing market, it is ON FIRE! Very much a seller's market and people are getting way over asking for their houses, so you would be wise to get on with it and get it sold. Hell, if I were you I'd just sell it as is. You will get your money and then some. Trust me. Most repairs and refurbishments are a waste of money if you are selling anyway, as I have said before. But I am also aware of what your answer was to that as well.
BTW, that's a vewy cute wittle puppy!

@porwest We would have to sell it "as is". It needs a new water heater and kitchen faucet. The kitchen faucet that we bought was stolen in one of the break-ins; and we're not buying another! The house could also use some updating.

@LindaOHio Don't. The housing market is so hot now you would be stupid to do anything other than just list it and be done.
That is my best advice right now. If you are trying to make the house selllable you are wasting your time and money because right now a SHED will sell for three times value.

Yah it looks like masks will be part our wardrobe for a long time to come I like Texas Roadhouse and longhorn equally well. For lunch longhorn is a great buy.

Sorry about your microwave. I hope she doesn't get too busy that she cannot come and clean for you. I got two of them and now read we may have to have a 3rd one. I read that as of today in Israel we do not have to wear masks outside but still inside. I am waiting to talk to my doctor to see about still wearing mine. Who is the cutey in the picture?

We still wear our masks as we can still get the virus and transmit the virus. The puppy is not anyone in particular. It was just in a bunch of pictures that I received from a friend. I will be posting several of them. Have a good new week!

TR is always packed here. I'm sorry you had to leave, but hopefully you'll be able to go again soon.
Yes, I am going to wear my mask today (supposed to go to an event with friends) even though I've received my vaccine.
You already know my day is.. well not the best. Hoping your cleaning lady will be able to keep cleaning for you both.

Sooner or later an appliance needs replacing doesn't it. I always hate to see that happen because the newer ones never seem as good as the ones purchased many years ago. Do you have that feeling? Anyway I agree, there is always many new features (which I call the bells and whistles) with a new appliance. Some never get used or figured out!
Glad your meal worked out even though it was your second choice. Doing some garden cleanup today. Have a great weekend
