Heart Shaped Fat Kitties

We had the pleasure of being invited to our younger son’s girlfriend’s house for dinner by her mother yesterday.
We also celebrated our son’s girlfriend’s brother’s graduation from law school.
The weather was glorious, so we ate on their deck. Lots of vegetarian salads and vegetables and even a grilled Hebrew National hot dog! The crazy thing is that we also had Impossible Burgers without knowing it until after the fact. They were delicious!
We got to play with, pet, pick up, and kiss 4 of their 6 rescued cats.
The boys, on the ottoman, are Ragdolls and brothers. They sleep cuddled up and form heart shapes. They clean each other and purr together. Love them!

That was sweet of his girlfriend's parents, to have you and hubs over for dinner. It touches my heart when animals bond with each other. They do this out of fear as babies and continue to display unconditional love!

@DianneN I have been down that path, raising two kids alone. It was very hard, yet the best 11 years of my life! Thank God, those cats found a loving home, where they're well cared for:)

@kobesbuddy She divorced him in Paris and returned to Connecticut. She did a mighty fine job, too. She’s head airline stewardess for American Airlines and left for Brazil today.

I enjoyed picking them up and kissing them. I miss holding and kissing fat kitties.
I swear I had no idea it was a plant based burger. Nor hubs! My son said to buy the Impossible brand and not Beyond Meat. Much better.
Trying to limit red meat here. Went 10 days a few weeks ago without it, but will continue to buy it, just less.

@DianneN I would love to kiss a couple of dogs on their soft heads and snouts!!! One of my Pomeranians learned to dip his head when I said, "Give mama a kiss". He would put his head down so I could kiss the top of his head. So cute!

Hmm I'm not sure if I know what the impossible burgers are I'd have to look them up. It might be what I had at my husband's family reunion two years back.
That's so nice how close you are to your son's girlfriend and her family!
They are unusual colors for ragdoll. So cute they sleep like that. Our brother and sister cat always slept next to each other two more of a ying yang though but I did have some heart shaped photos of them like this as well.

All I know is that the Impossible Burgers fooled my husband.
Very nice people, just like his ex's family.
Doodles only slept next to Kuma when he was in the mood or when she developed cancer. He knew before the rest of us. Kitties are so precious and smart.

I love it when our fur friends are friends with each other. On Friday nights, when you're savoring that one (or maybe two) Martini(s), I go to John's house. He's an 80-year-old harmonica player. We jam while his rescued cats and dogs snuggle with us an each other. It's a love fest.
