Now, at 5:00pm, the temperature is almost at 90 degrees. And it is only May. Crazy weather. I am not ready for it. But the A/C works, thank goodness.
Made a quick salad for dinner. Cauliflower, broccoli, cheese, a few bacon pieces, and a little creamy Italian salad dressing. So good with a few Ritz crackers on the side.
Will make more of these quick dishes with the temperatures heating up. The heat zaps what appetite I have. I enjoy all kinds of salads. Do you enjoy salads on the warmer evenings as well?
Photo is mine.

Same, I don't get very hungry during summer. I prefer ice cream but I can't live on that alone.
We often have rice salads when temps are high.

A meal like that on a hot day is perfect.
We are finally feeling warmer weather here.
Of course its like early summer weather and not spring weather, but I cannot complain.
My favorite go-to meal on a hot evening is a dish of frozen yogurt with some fresh fruit on it.

@CarolDM I like the heat sometimes, just not the himidity.
I wish it would stay 70 year round.

@thislittlepennyearns 65-70 would work for me too with zero humidity.

Salad is always a good choice for dinner. Healthy and you can add many items into it to make a hardy filling meal.

I love good salads.
Last night, we used a gift card and ate at a Mexican restaurant. We waited to eat until fairly late, so that it wouldn't have many customers, which is what we intended. I had a shrimp fajita salad with guacamole, it was so good. It always comes in a fried tortilla shell that I never eat, but I do love what they put inside the shell!

Oh, fried ice cream is delicious, but I don't order it...if I did, I would no doubt eat the entire thing.

Yes, my daughter and I eat lots of salads during the summer months and a good easy meal for dinner time. I love adding all sorts of things to my salad but I recently read a post about blueberries which is something I normally wouldn't think of putting in a salad.

I feel you. The temperatures are a bit crisp over here in the mid 80s and feels like summer. We're due to have a t-storm on Saturday and back to warm weather next week. That salad looks good. Yes I love salads--homemade or store-brought salad kits.
