My SIL was planning on coming in August; but she changed her mind and will be coming in October. Just as well because August will be a very busy month for us. She is coming in from Phoenix, Arizona and wants to see the fall colors here in Ohio.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Hot dog, beans and grape juice
Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Piece of pizza
What did you have to eat yesterday?

She's not coming until the end of October. We've gotten snow as early as November 7. It will be quite chilly for her.

I had a salad with canned salmon. It was really good. And a soft boiled egg on the side. Then I had the goat cheese log topped with blackberry preserves and a cup of coffee.
It will certainly be less hot in October but your SIL is probably used to the heat.

She's my sister-in-law; and neither of us are looking forward to it.

@LindaOHio Oh sorry. I must have been speed reading and thought 'sister'.

LOL! I was sinister (to my body anyway) and ate half a dozen raspberry-filled iced doughnuts and a fun size 3 Musketeers bar before heading out to my doctor appointment and drinking an unplanned vanilla milkshake on the way home. And to be honest, the doughnuts and candy bar were also not planned.
The day began on a good note of coffee, water, 4-oz. of Bolthouse Farm's Green Immunity Boost juice, a handful of cherries, and a mix of white and red grapes. But then, I checked my mail.
Dun, Dun Duuun!
There were doughnuts - multiple boxes of doughnuts on the Giving Table, and one of them was calling out my name. How could I possibly resist, knowing they needed a good home, and I had one? Besides, my lab tests aren't until next Tuesday, so I knew my numbers would be safe. I am not a diabetic. I am just not very sweet tooth resistant.
I had a pork chop and a farmer's garden salad topped with classic balsamic dressing for dinner.

Oh! I should have been more specific. I did not eat them all in one sitting. The mail gets delivered in the morning, and my appointment was in the afternoon. I ate the doughnuts throughout the day before I left.
You're welcome for the article. I wasn't expecting the bonus of the "Suspense" episode in my quest for the Stravinsky note sequence. I was only trying to find the song to which "Dun Dun Duuun!" belonged. So, I enjoyed that as well.

I couldn't down 1/2 dozen donuts and candy at one time! Thanks for the article.

Thursday breakfast, oatmeal with raisins and peanut butter, lunch an Aloha burger at Braums and a cherry limeade. For supper I had a taco salad at a good Mexican restaurant.

That's why my SIL wants to come in October. I prefer summer to winter.

Got to have an occasional hot dog during the summer. I cooked some on the grill over the 4th and this past Monday. I will put baked beans on top, it adds additional flavor, yummy
