Meals - 7/27/22

Our housekeeper came yesterday and got quite a bit done. Her wedding is coming up at the end of August; and we are invited. We will get to see quite a few of hubby's cousins at this get-together. Nothing much going on here.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - We had meatloaf Meals on Wheels; but hubby bought me a Chef Salad; so I had that. Added some chicken and sunflower seeds to it.
Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee
Dinner - Raspberry yogurt

She will come one more time before her wedding. We have company coming the week of her wedding.

I take it the housekeeper is family or am I wrong? You mentioned you will see a lot of your husband's cousins at the wedding. Congrats to your housekeeper on her upcoming wedding. The end of August is not too far off. Does she have a lot left to do? Will she continue to be your housekeeper after she gets married? So, how was the meatloaf? That was nice of him to get you a chef salad. Chicken and sunflower seeds sounds good to add into the salad. I had half a piece of toasted bread with butter and the other half of toasted bread with peanut butter and some sardines and ice cream for lunch yesterday.

I am sorry that the meatloaf was just ok. So, it sounds like a reunion of family and glad she does ot have much to do. That is good that she will continue to be your housekeeper if you like her. Will they be going on a honeymoon? My day is almost over because shortly I will have to get off the computer in order to get ready for the Jewish Sabbath.

Yes, the housekeeper is my husband's second cousin. Her wedding will be simple; so she doesn't have much to do. She will continue as our housekeeper after the wedding. The meatloaf was OK. Hope you have a good day!

@LindaOHio Simple is nice....mine was very simple...just a few family members then we went back to my husband's apartment at the time and had a BBQ. Hope it is nice there with good food

I had spaghetti last night when my husband got home from work. I always wait for him even when he's really late which we've tried to cut down on. He works about an hour and a half away so when he gets off late, he's really late.

I ate a bowl of watermelon for breakfast and made some beef chunks, onions, garlic and sliced mushrooms fried together for my dinner last night. It was delicious.

Grilled ham and cheese, fries for brunch. Dinner blanched bitter melon & white Japanese radish splashing miso dressing on, so good. White nectarine too. A nice salad, yum!

Ours is pakbet. It's veggies recipe. The vegetables like squash, eggplants, string beans with cubes of pork meat are cooked with coconut milk.

I do not remember yesterday's breakfast. Lunch was a pizza flavored quesadilla. It had red sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella and cheddar cheese in it. Supper was a chicken dish with veggies.

It's nice that your housekeeper will be having a wedding celebration since so many had to cancel due to the pandemic.
Your meals always sound good to me! last night we had pasta . I try to eat mealtess at least once a week

I rarely eat meatless; but I have cut out beef 90% of the time except with the Meals on Wheels lunches. I don't have any control over that.
