Danger From The Skies?

It is expected that flying cars will be commercially available by 2024 , but they have not yet worked out the logistics of how air traffic will be handled. I for one will be very unccomfortable with the sight of cars zipping over my head. I would not feel safe in my home or on the street. What do you think? Would you feel safe with cars overhead - even though they may ease the traffic down below? In the following article you can read more about flying cars in the future. https://www.myayan.com/advantages-and-disadvantages-of-flying-cars

That's all we need. Idiot drivers in the sky. When I was young, I was certain everybody would be flying around in cars in the air. After much consideration, I believe it's a bad idea. I don't think most people would be competent to navigate the skies. Look at the trouble on the roads. Roundabouts confuse people. Hahah In a country that makes it mandatory to include a warning on a clothes iron that clothes should be removed before ironing, it doesn't give me much confidence in flying cars or the people navigating. It's nice to see you again Kandase. I trust all is well with you :)

Now that l see you , all is well. I was wondering where you were. On the matter of flying cars. God forbid it should happen here. Right now we have a problem with increasing road accidents and we must also face the awful realization that 20 % of drivers buy their driver's licenses. Can you imagine if some of those drivers are let loose in the sky?

I don't even have faith in the current car situation on our roads . . . to have these drivers fly over us would be even more hazardous .

@RebeccasFarm The moon and the stars too. Those cars might also pollute the air.

Enough people seem to have difficult navigating the roads, I cannot imagine how dangerous the world would be with people flying cars, you wouldn't be safe unless you were in a cave.

@Kandae11 seriously ,most like the flying cars would later on become driverless run by AI complete with air traffic controller inorder to eliminate human error, they don't get sleepy , tired nor drunk.

That would be my greatest fear. Everytime l hear a rumble, l would think it is something other than thunder.

I'm not sure. When I was a kid I would never have thought there would be cars that could help a person to park or back up.

Not comfortable at all. I believe we should focus our efforts on reducing all traffic not just moving it from ground to air.

@Kandae11 I would suspect many of them will be, in the short term, quite out of reach for most people which may also be a good thing.
