Meals - 9/25/22

It has been raining on and off for two days now; and we have a flood watch in effect. They are predicting 2-4" more for our area. Printer is not set up yet; but all the packing material has been removed. Still eating our extra Meals on Wheels meals. Makes it so much easier to just heat and eat. Nothing much going on here. How about in your piece of the world?
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken patty, rotini in marinara sauce, zucchini, mixed veggies, grape juice, apricots
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate pie and decaf coffee
Dinner - Protein bar
What did you have to eat yesterday?

@LadyDuck That's why we bought a standby generator. It functioned for the first time a couple of days ago.

I made a concoction Chicaa would love to hate. lol. Made some rice up and then chopped some onions and green peppers, plus some leftover pork steak I had. Cooked up the onions and peppers and warmed up the pork, added in some chicken broth, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, then added in the rice—yummy.

Nothing happened here yesterday.
I made broccoli and noodles in a butter sauce for lunch and ate a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit for supper last night.
Be careful. I hope the rain stops and nobody gets flooded out.

Thanks. We are in a pretty good area for staying dry. The only time our basement was flooded was years ago when we had **12"** of rain. Hopefully that won't happen again.

Let's see now, I am doing better at the end of this month than the last. I baked some chicken drumsticks with rice in the oven, so I had chicken and the cats had a bit, and then I fried the rest of the rice today,
