We didn't receive the s**w that was originally predicted. The Buffalo area, however, is buried under several feet of the white stuff. How is it in your area? Michigan has also received a lot of lake-effect s**w. We went to Red Lobster yesterday and stopped for a pick-up order at Walmart after our dinner. We waited for an hour and a half and then were shorted 8 items. I haven't been able to reach "Pick Up" yet by phone. How is your day?
We will be watching the Browns play the Buffalo Bills today; but the game was changed from Buffalo to Detroit because of the tons of s**w in Buffalo. Fans are in the process of shoveling out the Buffalo stadium.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Red Lobster - Stuffed mushrooms, Cheddar Bay Biscuits, clam strips, bay scallops, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts -- so good!
Dessert/Snack - Brownie and a cup of decaf coffee
Dinner - None

@LadyDuck Got a hold of someone. They told me to call 1-800-WALMART. They gave us credit for the items that weren't received. No hassle at all.

I suppose that you use those *** because for you, now, snow is a 4 letter word
. On the contrary, today we are expecting 86 ° F after noon. The temperature has been crazy. Last week I used winter clothes. Two days ago I asked Dixie to lend me a blouse as I was going out and only had those Arubian T shirts that I use in the house. In one day, the temperature changed from winter to summer.
I have been eating too much or too little while at Dixie´s as we have been going out with Dixie´s cousins. But yesterday I stayed home and ate mainly leftovers. I had a big breakfast, an omelette for lunch and as I was alone at her home, I ate pieces of leftover cake as snacks. I brought home an artichoke for dinner.

I just made a batch of Red Lobster biscuits this morning. Of course they're not quite the same as the ones you get at the restaurant, but they are still delicious nonetheless. Hope you enjoy your day.

Good ole Red Lobster. Hope you can get the Walmart thing sorted out. Fingers crossed for you. As for me I don't ever get shorted because I go inside and fill my own cart. I actually HATE that pick up thing because those pickers with those huge tray carts are ALWAYS in my way, and they seem to forget I am a customer too. Oh well. It is what it is.
For dinner I made a heaping pot of hearty minestrone.

@porwest I like a lot of beans of any kind. Walmart issued a credit for the items that I didn't receive. No hassle at all.

@LindaOHio I loaded it up with onions, mushrooms, zuchinni, ground Italian sausage, celery, great northern beans, macaroni noodles, diced tomatoes...it was delicious and I have a ton left.
Hope you get your Walmart issue resolved. Customer service sucks.

No snow here, just cold. Your lunch sounds yummy. I have never tried those pick up services, as it seems it causes more trouble than it solves.

We had to wait soooo long. They said that a lot of people were doing their Thanksgiving shopping. There were at least two dozen cars waiting. We waited for an hour and a half and were missing more than half our order!

I heard on the news that they warned people in the Niagara Region that the storm that hit Buffalo could be heading their way. They actually had to warn the residents to have at least 72 hours worth of food and medication and pet food. I thought that was a given, but I guess not.
Yesterday we had left over beef stew, it was just as good the second time around as the first.

Oh, I know it was delicious at Red Lobster I have been a couple of times in my life and they always have great seafood, I made some fried, chicken nuggets, and gravy.

I am sure that you were happy that it didn't snow as predicted. I know how much you hate winters and snow. Your meal at Red Lobster sounds good. Is that a very fancy restaurant? That's what they mentioned about it in the show Young Sheldon.

It's a very casual restaurant. You can go there in jeans. Their food is really good.

Well, the show Young Sheldon is set up in late 70s and 80s. It might have been considered fancy then. Especially for people coming from a humble background.

@CarolDM The food varies from restaurant to restaurant. We usually go to the RL that is further away because the food is better and the portions are larger.
