Goodbye for Now

I’m so sorry not to have been here today. I had intended to work on notifications and relax, but just as I got started, a group of friends invited us to go to brunch and spend the day at the beach with them, so of course hubs and I jumped at the chance.
Home, showered, fed, and done packing a few things. We are flying home to Connecticut in the morning and should arrive at 1:15. Our friends will drop us off at the airport. Our younger son will pick us up.
We are returning to see our family and to celebrate our son’s birthday next Saturday. We have an appointment on Monday for drapery panels to be installed, and I made an appointment for a mani/pedi on Thursday. Otherwise, I will be back to see you as much as possible if our internet works. We have it on vacation mode until our full return in April or the beginning of May.
We return to Florida January 31st!
Photo is mine. I cracked up when I saw those squirrels on my front steps just before we left for Florida. Too funny!

@Tina30219 25 minute wait. We were scheduled to arrive at 1:15 and he told us he’d be there at 1:15. That’s when he arrived

We have several squirrels that seem to like watching us when we're working in the kitchen. One made me jump yesterday by jumping at me while I was washing dishes. Of course, he landed on the outside window sill instead of on me but it still startled me.

We are expecting snow, then rain. With the warmer temperatures, everything will be clear by morning, thank goodness. Hubs has to meet a friend and visit his old secretary. My son has a business meeting. And I have a very important mani/pedi to get

They are so chubby and cute, really good shot.. I've been trying to get a good look at the ground squirrel that lives under my porch but all I get is it's tail then it's gone. It does go next door where Roscoes buddies live and manages to get away every time.

@Marilynda1225 That’s okay and thanks. We may get 1-3 inches, but the rain will wash it away. It should warm up to 51 tomorrow, but will be windy. Busy day tomorrow, and all we have to drive is our sports car. It can’t be driven in snow or ice!
