Still waiting for hubs to go down and take a look in the basement so that I can call the sewer company. I guess he decided not to try out the sump pump. Fine with me. It's s**wing here now. There are some school closures; but not in our area. How is your weather?
UPDATE: Hubs went down the basement. The water is still there. We called the sewer company. They may come out tomorrow morning. That will mean another charge. Sigh.
*50* days until spring.
Breakfast - Apple Cinnamon Muffin Bar
Lunch - We had frozen a piece of prime rib from New Year's Eve. I had that with a baked potato and sour cream and a roll.
Dessert/Snack - Cheesecake and decaf coffee
Dinner - An apple

We had a freezing mist falling yesterday evening and then freezing rain during the night. All the outside plants look like they're covered in glass right now. I'm glad I won't need to drive on it.
I had mixed veggies for breakfast, some corn chips with salsa dip for lunch and at some smoked turkey and mashed potatoes for supper.

When we had the issue in the basement our neighbor called our HOA and the sewer company the HOA uses. We were not charged for the guy coming. But whatever he did was outside. He only came down to our basement to make sure everything is okay after he did what he did outside. He just flushed the toilet a few times, had us sign some paper, and left. I hope the sewer guys do not charge a lot when they come to your house. The guy told us if we needed to replace the ring under the toilet it'd be in the $200 range. Forget the exact amount.

We had some freezing rain but it is supposed to all be gone by mid-afternoon. Colder all this week supposedly, but I don't remember seeing snow in the forecast.
For dinner I made by famous, (to some) stomach churning rice dish with kielbasa, onions, green pepper and Teriyaki sauce. It was delicious, and I can never tire of kielbasa.

@LindaOHio Yup. I guess so. If I'm not mistaken, mostly it will be flour and baking soda and salt for taste, I guess others like yogurt will be the addition.
