I was away for several days, trying to put some order in a hoarder friend's kitchen... Thursday, Friday and Saturday. By Sunday, I could barely move and came home in the afternoon, took a quick shower/shampoo, got dressed in clean clothes and did a load of laundry.
Had dinner at Swiss Chalet because Union Jack's (fish and chips) is closed on Sundays. The potato soup was delicious, even with the chicken kneecaps in it.
Then it was off to the hospital for my CT scan... painless and didn't take long at all. My doctor will get the results in about a week.
I was in bed just after 8pm (reading) and am still tired this morning at 9:26am.

There's still "too much stuff" but she said "At least now I can breathe."

I need organizational help, please. I really just need some time to take care of stuff. Glad you are back, and keep us posted about your test.

Back in the summer I had a few unexplained falls and my doctor wanted to see if maybe I had a ministroke. It took this long to get scheduled in.

I keep threatening to hire a dumpster... but it would take several. At least now she can see the kitchen floor.

I've been called a hoarder but it's not that I hoard, it's that I recycle and there's no where to actually keep it until I can make a run to the bins so it's kinda crowded in my back room right now and whats worse is my township doesn't provide recycle cans, dammmit.

@LadyDuck We're below zero this morning, too, but it will supposedly get up to 8° later in the day.

Did you have any success in putting order in the kitchen?
Hope you feel better. And hope the CT scan is fine.

Managed to throw out loads of disgusting things from the fridge and several loaves of green bread that was hiding in corners... Took out three big garbage bags of stuff and took out various items for the recycle bins.

Sounds like you had an exhausting weekend but nice that you helped a friend with her kitchen, Hopefully she's keep it organized since you worked so hard.

Oh, she does, she always does, but it doesn't stop her from accumulating more stuff.

Most of the stuff I got rid of was food. She realises it's an illness and is trying to do better but then there's the mountains of clothes I never got near.
