Sickishness

The school seems to have a round of a stomach bug going on.
I am included in that.
I was ready for work, but my gut said otherwise, so I stayed home today. My primary kiddo did too. I may have caught it from him.
I am choosing to take a second day off work, as I do not want to share with others and I have just had one thing after another for a week.
Sore throat, stomach pain, headaches, chills, but no fever. I think a long weekend will help me get on top of things.
Bruno came and joined me when I took a long nap. Then he crawled under Bob's heated throw and sat on his feet.
Just a slow day all together.

I hope you feel better quickly. There is always sickness running through the schools. I was so happy when Pretty was finally done with school and I'd stop catching everything she brought home. Most of the time she didn't even get sick. She just brought it home to me.

@GardenGerty That was Pretty. She'd get the sniffles and give me full-blown flu. It was terrible.

My student has felt unwell all week and he cannot tell us when he is really sick.He missed school Thursday as well.

I used to have a hard time staying home, now I realize paid sick days are part of my compensation and others can get much sicker than I do.

I hope you get well soon. I suggest you just stay home tomorrow too and then try and get yourself on your feet over the weekend so you can be all right by next week,

I am sorry you are sick.
We seem to be having a big surge here of strep throat, some type of virus goes with it and lots of nausea and a fever. It is hitting kids and adults both, I sure don't want it. So many bugs around! Take care of yourself!
