A great way to stop conversation

We had a few friends around on Pancake Tuesday. We met in the evening after we’d all been to the movies and came back to our house for a pancake supper.
The pancakes were delicious and later we passed round the box of Lindt chocolates that you can see in the photo. Lindts are my favourite. They are quite big ‘balls’ of chocolate with a hardish centre. You can’t really bite into them but have to put the whole thing in your mouth.
What was interesting and quite funny was that, once we’d all popped our chocolates in our mouths, no-one could speak and there was this sudden silence whereas before we’d all been talking at once!

@JudyEv It was so many years ago. Something I will never forget. Actually I was the naughty type in school.

I also like Lindt chocolate. But I prefer Lindt thin dark chocolate. The one you had was Lindor.

Indeed. It was probably a sugar overload that night.

It sounds like a fun evening you had. Pancakes are really good and I have not had them in ages. I used to love chocolate chips in them with butter on top and syrup on the butter. I bet it was very quiet when everyone popped the whole chocolate in their mouth and could not talk.
