Does anyone recognise this?

I was going through a photograph album of our ‘Irish’ son’s and came across this photo. Does anyone recognise it? I think it might have been in Scotland or maybe France. Maybe I’ll need to ask our son when we visit, but in the meantime, it’s a pretty distinctive rock/whatever. There is a Dog Rock in Albany, Western Australia, but it's not quite as dog-like as this one. And something else I’ve noticed, not related. When I see the yawning emoticon it makes me yawn. Isn’t it funny that that happens? Someone yawns and it’s instantly contagious.

I have never seen it, but it is quite a rock-dog.

@JamesHxstatic It is not a rock James, it is a very large topiary composed by many different plants.

@LadyDuck Oh, I thought the center was a rock. What an amazing topiary. Trimming it must be a big task.

Anna says it's in Bilbao in Spain so that's nice to know. It's very attractive.

That looks like a Scottish Terrier but I've never seen it before. A lot of people use that yawning emoji but it's never made me yawn.

Do you yawn if other people yawn? I think most people do but of course you're very unique.

@JudyEv Sometimes I do, but an emoji doesn't mean as much as a person doing something.

This statue covered with plants is in Spain, Bilbao, in front of the Guggenheim Museum. Yawning is contagious and I noticed that when I yawn my cats immediately after also yawns.

I thought it might have been but it's actually topiary - plants trimmed to make a particular shape.

It does look like a dog to me. Like the growth on it. Hubs and I yawned at the exact same moment last night and burst out laughing. They do say yawns are contagious among people, but it's funny how yawning emojis make you yawn

It's a topiary in the form of dog. I sometimes wonder, if two people timed it right, if you could yawn back and forth all night. Maybe you and Hubs could try it and let us know!

That is an interesting dog cropped out of plants and must take some work to keep it that way. When I lived many years ago in NYC I had interesting adventures on the subway. One time a woman with a dachshund in a cloth bag sat down opposite me. I was sleepy but had to get to the city. The dog stared at me all the way and kept yawning I nearly fell asleep and was so glad when I could get out,
