Great shopping trip and too much sleep

Yesterday my girls and I went shopping. They both needed shoes so that was our main goal in going out but we needed some groceries as well.
I had earned enough points in rewards at Mcdonalds that I was able to get myself a delicious free large caramel frappe.
My oldest wanted Boba tea so we went to a new place selling it. I waited in the car with the sleeping baby and it was 20 minutes before she got back with her order. There were only 2 people ahead of her in line. She said she wouldn’t go back how long it took even though they were lower cost then other places.
Gas in town in PA is $3.79/gallon. The lowest price I could find where we were shopping in Ny was $3.33/gallon. When I used my speedway card it took the price down to $3.13/gallon. I think there’s a discount I get for a certain time after I has signed up for their rewards card. I also used the upside app ( https://www.upside.com/ ) and can’t wait to see how much cash back I get through them. It takes 2-4 days.
At DSW my daughter got a pair of Sketchers sneakers and I had a coupon plus donated a pair of old shoes and so I was able to save my daughter $25 off the shoes she bought.
The boots in the photo are ones I debated hard on for the baby. Due to the little heel I decided not to get them but thought they were to darn cute not to share here.
The baby was up until about 11:30pm last night after having a late nap on the drive home. I was up until 1am cleaning after I put her in her crib.
She woke up at 5am and my husband put her in our bed with me while he went to get ready for work. At 9am she woke up and we laid there cuddling and playing and then she fell back asleep so I drifted off too. I was absolutely shocked when I woke up very stiff and saw it was 1:45 pm!
Getting that much sleep was wonderful but due to not having my coffee so late I have had a headache all day.
School is canceled for tomorrow due to a huge snow storm we are supposed to be getting so I’ll be happy to see more of the boys and maybe my daughter.

@DaddyEvil well at the end I was so stiff and sore laying there. I didn’t think it was so late and was worried about waking her so I turned carefully and got my phone. I have had a headache all day though. I’ll feel better tomorrow I just need to sleep it off tonight. It will be good for me to catch up on my sleep the way I did.

Those are cute little boots. You and the baby probably needed the rest. You did well with your Speedway card. I paid 3,19 for gas today, that was at one of the cheaper places.

@allen0187 yes. My oldest daughter doesn’t drive yet so she has to have people take her. She goes with her boyfriend and his grandmother a lot to get groceries.

@BarbaraPrz I know I wish she was a little older and had been walking longer then it would have been okay to buy them. I got these little glittery sneakers instead.

@RebeccasFarm I know I wish they were flats so I could have bought them but with the little heel I didn’t think it was a wise idea with her just learning to walk two months ago or so. This is what I did buy her little glittery sneakers.

@LadyDuck I wish they were flats she looked adorable in them. These are the ones I wound up buying. I looked at four different stores for shoes for her and then found them at Walmart.
Yes it was good for me for sure to get the all that extra sleep I never usually get enough.

Sounds like you had a good shopping day with your girls. I always enjoy time I spend with my daughters.

@Marilynda1225 my oldest daughter works a lot and is at her boyfriend most of her free time so I really enjoy getting to spend any time with her.
We really didn’t get much snow at all it was very over dramatized ahead of time. Looks like maybe two inches out there today.

@RasmaSandra we really didn’t get to much. The roads were bad enough the thrift store my daughter works at was closed and my husband didn’t go in to work but I’ve definitely seen a lot more snow and a lot worse weather this was nothing like we expected.
