Well, we finally got some rain. There were two close thunderclaps that just about knocked me out of my chair! The plants and grass will enjoy the moisture and the nitrogen in the air.
I see the NBA finals are being played. It seems like the basketball season has gone on for months and months and months. Do you watch basketball?
Nothing much else going on. Our housekeeper comes today. Our flower bed is full of weeds already. I doubt if she will weed today. The ground is too wet to stand on.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Lentil soup
Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee
Dinner - Turkey and Swiss sandwich and the last of the potato salad

I think I missed the last NBA final game. I am hoping the Denver Nuggets finish it off. So many people seem to be rooting for Miami, but I admire the Nuggets simple, hard working team attitude. They seem to play for each other, and not for glory. But that might just be my nonsense view.

@LindaOHio I have to admit, I didn’t watch a single basketball game until the finals. My favorite sports are football and baseball, but I like a good story like the Nuggets.

@AmbiePam We will very rarely watch a baseball game with the Cleveland Guardians (hate that name that they picked when they had to change it from the Indians).

Guy must’ve been a hypochondriac. 
No, I don’t watch basketball. Never really cared for it, even though I had a major schoolgirl crush on Louie Dampier when he played with the Kentucky Colonels in the old American Basketball Association.
Yesterday was CTS (chicken taco salad) for lunch and chicken soup and rice for dinner.

Hubby and I can't get into basketball. Run to one side of the court and then turn around and run to the other side. Rinse and repeat.

We have not had hard downpours with the rain, only light rain that is on and off over the past 24 hours.
It is good to have it come down so gently so that there is no flooding.
It is much cooler today again.
I can relate to the headstone, I feel the same way.
I caught a cold that the twins have, but has gone to my lungs again.
I am being as careful as I can with this.

@LindaOHio I have never relied on antibiotics because your body can build up a resistance to them and then when you really need them to work they will fail.

Oh, no. Nowadays they tell you that if you get bronchitis to power through it unless it gets really bad to avoid having to take antibiotics too often. I hope you feel better soon.

We had several days of storms and rainfall with lots of thunder and lightning.
I have no idea what Pretty's been feeding me. I'm sure it was some of the food I've made an put in the freezer but that's all I'm sure of.
It's been chilly today. She said it was 55F early this morning and I know we only reached 74F for a high today.

Yes. There are still a lot of drought areas though. We are actually still in a drought even though we got some rain.

That headstone is so funny and it reminds me of my dad. He always said he wanted that to be written on his headstone but my mom didn't think it was funny.
Last night we had eggplant parmesan with spaghetti.

That's good that you got the rain you needed...well I am sure more than that would be necessary but still.
