You have probably heard that Pat Sajak is retiring from Wheel of Fortune after 40 years. Whoopi Goldberg has announced that she wants the hosting position.
There has been a quake in the Philippines. I hope that all residents, including our members, are safe and sound.
Today is my bi-annual eye doctor appointment. I have glaucoma and dry eye; and they must check my eye pressure every 6 months. We will go to Longhorn Steakhouse after my appointment. I have my PayPal earnings to pay for dinner.
What are you up to in your section of the planet?
Breakfast - Belvita oat biscuits
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - BBQ chicken breast, mac and cheese, red cabbage, corn muffin and fruit cocktail
Dessert/Snack - Triple chocolate muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Turkey and Swiss on a bagel

@LindaOHio Often after a volcano eruptions there are minor quakes.

My eye pressure is stable which is good. I use prescription eye drops every evening.

I heard he is retiring. Not sure about Whoopi hosting though. I don't watch it except for when I am spending time at my grandma's and she has it on.
Hope your appointment goes well and you enjoy the meal. Not sure what is on their menu!

@LindaOHio I heard Ryan Seacrest is an option to host too...which I would like better than Whoopi. My grandmother said she'll never watch again if Whoopi takes over.

One of my meals was the stuffed bell peppers. I do not remember much else. Finished off that dish today.

My eye pressure is under control with the prescription drops. I have to be sure to use them every evening.

Nothing new here working on the PC as usual. I had a breaded chicken filet and seasoned fries, Pat Sajack needs a break but I don't see Oprah in his place, Whatever happened to the letter-turner? Vannah White, She is just my age and I could see her as host for at least some years,

I also heard that Ryan Seacrest might be in the running as host for Wheel. I can't really see Whoopi as Pats replacement.
Hope all goes well with your eye doctor appointment and enjoy your lunch at Longhorn (that's one of my favorite places to eat).

My eye pressure is stable with the prescription eye drops which is good. Ryan Seacrest would be good; but he has an awful lot of irons in the fire.

Whoopi on Wheel? Too political, controversial and loud mouthed. The complete opposite of the mellow host Pat Sajak. That would never do!

The other rumor I heard was that Ryan Seacrest is being considered. A better choice; but he has so much on his plate.
