6/20/23 - Meals & Update

Today hubs has an appointment with his second heart doctor. This one is called the plumber. His other doctor is called the electrician. One tries to keep his AFIB in check; and the other one takes care of the heart in general.
Still don't know if and when we will get some rain.
Today, June 21, is the longest day of the year. The days will start to get shorter again. What a bummer.
That's it for my boring life as of now. How about you?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Lasagna, garlic bread, mixed veggies, Mandarin oranges, oatmeal cookie
Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Ham and Swiss on a bagel

It sure does get hot in Texas though. I saw temps over 100 for today. :-(

You might want to make that 21 in the title.
I hope the heart doctor has good news.
Your meals sounded good for yesterday.
Yesterday was a different kind of day for me. I stuck like glue to my diet plan though.
Breakfast - Banana and Fruit tray. Lunch with the ladies at Pizza Ranch - Salad with cucumbers and onion and cottage cheese, peach slices, and mandarin oranges on the side with three pickle spears. I had potato salad when I got home. Supper was an egg omelet with shredded cheese and banana. I did well. The scale only went up one ounce over yesterday.

Bob also has two heart doctors. We had never met the electrician one until last month. I liked him, as he explained things well. I need to go cook.

@LindaOHio We never go out in the evening, but we often go out early in the morning to drive to the hospital. It is a problem when it's dark. My husband has a hard time seeing in the dark.

It sprinkled several times during the day yesterday but when Pretty took the trash out around 2 am, she said the grass was dry. I may try to mow while it's still cool this morning instead of going out when it's 87F this afternoon and mow. It's 63F now.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, had a chicken and cheese sandwich for lunch and had some fried ground beef with onions and spices for supper.
Nothing going on here this week. Have a good day.

Feeling sleepy today for some reason. Interesting words for the different doctors. Never heard of them being used like that.

Don't know how they get shorter if they are all 24 hours? But the part that is light I am guessing is what is meant by that. Hope his appointment goes well

I hope that his appointment goes well.
Nothing really exciting here either, middle of the week, but really hard to believe that late next week we will be half way through 2023 already. Time is a flyin!
I had a salad for lunch yesterday and did a round steak in the air fryer which allows it to come out so tender you do not need a fork, I pulled it and added some nice barbeque sauce to it, we had it on wraps along with French fries.
