This will probably be the last of my "cute kid" posts, as I don't visit the flaky daycare any more.
This 2-year-old liked to wash her hands with me. And to sing along with me to the songs on Coco Melon.
She also liked to give me "pretend bites" of her food.
I don't know her history, but she was recently officially adopted by the family that has been fostering her for most of her first two years.
She seems quite well-adjusted, and I hope she has a happy and productive life.
I will do a bit more work on the KLH radio I have here before I head out of town.
How is your weekend shaping up?

I hope it's a good family and she grows up happy, even with the faint memories of you in her past.
Please be careful on your trip to and from Montana. I hope you enjoy yourself while you're gone.

@TheHorse You're welcome. I always felt better knowing AAA was available if I had any trouble while I was traveling around the country.
We can always hope the interactions you had with her will carry on through her adult life.

@DaddyEvil As a researcher, I would like to chat with my former kid clients in early adulthood. But I don't want to invade their privacy.

I´m glad that she was adopted. I don´t much understand why these awesome children have to spend part of their childhoods in foster families.

@TheHorse As far as I know social services are very interested tthat the children are taken by their blood family. That sometimes mean tht children are sold to beggars and other such horrible tratments. And on the other hand, to minimize the posobility of people that adopt a child to abuse them, they ask way too much of prospective adopted parents. I know this because one of my closest friends here had to undergo a long and painful path before they gave him and his wife rheir 2 kids.

I love adoption...as I was adopted too
My weekend is not good as I have walked out of my job and a family member is missing.
That being said I can apparently walk in to another job and I have the time to look for the family member before we have to get the police involved...so the timing isn't that bad

Um, that sounds kind of serious. I walked away from the scary African lady. But she still owes me about $1,150. I hope you can walk on to that new job. And that you find your relative Does that person have a tendency to go missing?

That's excellent news. I'm so happy for her. Today we are going to Red Lobster to celebrate hubby's birthday. Enjoy your Sunday.

I am glad for the little one, that she has a family. I wish her much happiness
One of my children is adopted. Probably one of my greatest accomplishments in life, and I am so honored to be his mother.

Hot, hot hot in Kansas. I must have missed a post where you said you would no longer work at the flaky daycare. Glad she was adopted.

It's too bad you had to make this decision. I hope that little cutie has a happy and productive life too. So glad she was found by caring people.
