Who is the hardest for you to shop for?

I think my dad and my nephew are the hardest to buy for. I imagine being female allows me to draw from my experience when I shop for girls and women. So, I got my dad what you see in the picture (he’ll really use it), and a bit of a “gag” or “white elephant” gift for Christmas. It’s a 2024 calendar of puppies getting ready to poop. Yes, I did. He loves to laugh more than anything, and I know this will do it. I also got my brother-in-law a calendar like that (as well as something else).
So, who is the hardest for you to get a Christmas present for?
*I did not post a picture of the calendar out of respect for those that don’t find that sort of joke gift funny.

Oddly I’d have to say my husband. I’m not sure why I find it so difficult.

Maybe my dad because he doesn't really do anything anymore. He loved the blue bathrobe I got him for Christmas last year. Maybe I will get matching slippers this year..unless my mom suggests something different.

@snowy22315 I first tested them for Amazon Vine, then bought a pair for my dad for when he works under the hood of his car. They made a big difference, but come to think of it, unless you work on a car or camp a lot they would be great for a gag gift! Amazon sells them for ten bucks.
*It appears they raised the price to $15.

I guess Dale is the hardest. We have all we need and pretty much all we want, so he's hard to buy for. I bet your dad will love that tool and the calendar.

My parents were just like you and Dale. So, instead of getting each other something, they’d take the money and pay for a college student from their church who couldn’t afford to go home, a plane ticket so they actually could go back home for Christmas. At the time, we had a lot of college kids at our church (the church is near a Christian college).

@AmbiePam You had wonderful Christian role models, Amber. What generous things for them to do!

I think the hardest one is my wife,i have to say she is a bit picky to gift,Seems hard to buy her favorite gifts. Thus, mostly i give her money, let her buy gift by herself.Money is best gift,i think. She can buy anything beloved with money. The Christmas gift for your dad is wonderful, guess he will love it.

Many years ago my husband and I stopped buying any kind of presents for each other. Instead, we concentrated on good food and a nice Christmas punch, and then as Latvians are used to we remembered Jesus and the reason for the season and had a good time. His children were already quite grown and they understood not to expect anything. Of course, now I have no one to gift anything but if I have a gift card I might get myself something for Christmas,

I'm sure your dad will get a kick out of the calendar. Gifts like that make me laugh.

My husband. We usually just get what we want/need at the time; and we don't exchange gifts anymore; but if we did, he would be almost impossible to buy for. Have a great day. Thanks for sparing us pictures of the calendar.

Hmm, I don't know who is the hardest to shop for. Easiest to shop for though is my son. He's not shy about what he likes.

Pretty is hard to buy for... She won't even give me hints about what she wants... She just tells me she doesn't want anything.

Whatever I shopped for my husband and elder so earned appreciation but it's hard to satisfy my younger son.
