.... George took a major setback last night. He's on a ventilator. They'll try to take him off tomorrow, but never the less it's never good to be on a ventilator at all. They had to though, he'd aspirated and couldn't breathe. Doesn't mean either of us like it. I know he doesn't even though they're making him zoned out. wish us luck.

I’m truly sorry that you and George have to go through this. I know it is terribly hard on you as well. My thoughts are with you.

A good friend of mine had a very bad stroke about 10 years ago--she was only 50. Never smoked, not overweight, walked daily. She couldn't talk for about a month, and they did not think she would recover. But she did, a full recovery! It does happen, you are correct!

Thanks. I would like to say this is the first time, but it's not. With George's history of Asthma, this was always on the table.
