9/9/24 - Update On My Husband

Went to visit him yesterday and brought him some Burger King food. I wasn't feeling well; so we didn't stay too long.
He got his hair, beard and mustache cut; and I hardly recognized him. He looks so old and frail.
At this point I have no idea when he will be coming home.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support and thoughts.

@LindaOHio - My husband is also so skinny, I had to donate almost all his pants and jackets and I can find nothing small enough for him.

I am sorry you weren't feeling well. Some days are like that. He needs to get outside and get some sun on his face, and soak up that Vitamin D. Hoping for the best!

I am sorry you are feeling badly, Linda. Try to rest a little when you can. Stress can truly make us sick, I know this for sure. Take good care.

I know it seems like a long long road, but do not give up. Yes, the facial hair and hair cut make a huge difference in appearance.

I hope that you can visit him often. It is the best help for him. And do bring him his favorite food. I lost a lot of pouns when I was at the hospital. Hospital food is never yummy.

You don’t see him every day so you never see the change. When I looked at a photo of my friends and me from earlier this year I initially thought “who are those three old people?”

I hope that you begin to feel better soon.
Hopefully they will keep him in this facility as long as he continues to progress, and since they are, you should not give up hope.
But I can understand when you aren't feeling well, that would be difficult.
