How I Like To Shop - In and Out in a Jiffy

The photo is another of the inside of the new-to-us motor-home showing the kitchen area. There are storage cupboards above too.
We consider ourselves ‘country people’ and find the hustle and bustle of city life a bit off-putting at times. But a few days ago we had to brave going to a big shopping centre which has a horrendous parking area.
We drove around and around the ground floor parking lot then found a spot to park right outside one of the entries to the building. We took particular note of where we were, went in the entry then up steps to the next level. We looked around to get our bearings and the shop we wanted was right in front of us.
We picked up our package, had a very nice exchange with the shop assistant and were on our way again within minutes. Down the steps, out the door, there was the car virtually in front of us and we were heading home. That’s my kind of shopping.

You lucked out. I wonder how many ours of my adult life I have spent looking for m car? However, these days I will take careful note of where I am parked to avoid such circumstances. I am going to a store today that has an enormous underground parking lot. I thunk I will take a picture

I've thought about that too - taking pictures. And also taking photos when you're visiting someone in a huge hospital and get directed this way and that.

The interior is lovely Judy, you really did find a gem.
We dislike city living also, but our son is close and the medical facilities also, should we need them.
The traffic and parking are nighmares, but we usually find that if we get out so that we are among the first to arrive, things are not so bad.

That's a nice kitchen area. With storage cupboards is even better.

I love when there aren’t long lines. Christmas shopping so close to Christmas was terrible. I am so glad that is over.
Tell me about the kitchen counter. The faucet turns to go in either basin and the basins open and close like a window is that correct?

The tap you see is filtered water for drinking. There is a tap that folds down under the lid which lifts up to reveal a sink/basin. That's the larger lid on the right. The left lid lifts and there are three gas burners under it. With the lids down you have more bench space. There is a tiny add-on on the extreme right which pops up too.

You could have used that 'tag' thing to spot your car

Seems like you had a pretty good shopping experience. I don’t mind parking far away and walking the distance to wherever I have to go; I figure I will leave the close spots to those that struggle walking.

@JudyEv I know quite a few people who are like that as well. It bugs me too. And some of these people will drive around for 15 minutes trying to find a spot close by the entrance. In that amount of time you could have parked farther out, walked in, and gotten half your shopping done!

It has multiple entries and you can walk miles looking for a particular store that you want, particularly if it's a bit inconspicuous.

It is always wonderful when everything goes as planned. At times it sure doesn't.
Like other errands shopping can be really time consuming without careful planning. Many times, when I shop for clothes, it becomes an hourly event.

For a kitchen in a motor-home it's quite comprehensive.

Especially this time of year! There’s a mall near the restaurant I eat at frequently, and on nicer days I’ll walk over there. No window shopping, just walk to it, through it, and back to my car for the exercise.
But NOT this week. My poor brother has enochlophobia (fear of crowds), to the point where he has panic attacks if the grocery is too crowded.
Love that little counter extender on the end in the photo!

It was awesome. We expected problems parking, finding the shop, dealing with the crowds, etc but it was a breeze.

That would limit any social activities quite severely I would think.
