1/4/25 - Update On My Husband

We will be visiting him tomorrow, weather permitting. We have a pork roast and sauerkraut meal for him.
I'm going to talk to him again about calling me every day. If dialing the number is the problem, I will go over it with him.

Someone from the nurses' station is supposed to call me about his showers. I will ask her then about the staff doctor seeing him.

@LindaOHio You need to be blowing up these peoples' phones. Don't wait for them to call you back. Just keep calling. Darwin knows you are paying enough money to them.

I wish there was someone at the home who would take a particular interest in helping him call. Perhaps the activities staff could do this. If they document that they do this it looks good for them. I think the pork roast and kraut dinner is a great idea. It will have that taste of home to it.

Hope the weather will not be bad so you can go see him. Hope he'll enjoy the meal. And hopefully you can figure out the issue about him calling you.

What kind of problem is it? if it's a smart phone you can set it up so all he has to do is pick it up and say call my wife. You also might need to consider that he might not WANT to talk to you daily, because he's depressed.

Put your phone number on speed dial, is it an apple phone, if so you can say "call Linda" to Siri and it'll automatically call you.
