I am off and running with the home projects. As I mentioned, Terminix is coming out next Monday; and the gravel guy is going to give me an estimate on doing our U-shaped drive. I am going to have a roof inspection. Some of the shingles have to be around 30 years old. The center part of the roof was done about 20 years ago. I don't want to wait until we have a leak to get the roof done. I also have a handyman to call; and I need to check on the BBB website for some plumbers. I am still working on my will and beneficiaries. We're off to the Title Bureau and bank today. Still have a lot of errands to run including planning and paying for my funeral, my hubby's headstone, getting a haircut, etc. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, pears, roll Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Cheddar sandwich and chips What did you eat yesterday? Sounds like you're really on a roll now, getting a lot of things organised at least, if not actually done yet.

@LindaOHio Good for you. It would have been frustrating living with a procrastinator. I remember you sounding very exasperated in some of your posts. Full steam ahead now.

@JudyEv Yup. I'm going to get ALL the projects done that have been put off for years. The only thing I won't do is replacing the deck unless I win the lottery!!!

You keep taking care of yourself, young lady. I had a salad, some grilled chicken pest pasta, and an orange. I unfortunately got a little sick yesterday, so I didn’t eat much.

Roofs are super expensive these days. But they must be done, of course. For dinner I made Bremer Salisbury steaks and we had macaroni and cheese and corn on the side. Good enough.

I had sticker shock over the gravel for the driveway. I'm sure the roof will send me into a tizzy.

@porwest Yes it was $3,000. We have a big U-shaped drive, parking space and sidewalk to do.

@LindaOHio Gravel can be quite expensive, especially if you have a bit of a long driveway like yours is.

Keeping busy is a good thing right now. Hope it all goes well. What did I eat yesterday? Oh, we had chicken quesadillas. I like them better than the ones from fast food. My daughter knows her way around a good one.

I hope you still intend to put in a railing at those steps so it'll be there when you need it in the years to come.

What a busy day. Yesterday I had bacon and shrimp and clams and peas. APRIL FOOLS! (I’m allergic to all of those foods.) Chicken taco and rice for lunch, chicken veggie soup for dinner. And watermelon and apples and fiber and another one of those So Delicious strawberry cheesecake desserts!

@LindaOHio — not for people who do eat bacon, it’s not terrible. More for them!

It's far too removed from April Fools Day for me to remember what I ate, but I wanted to catch up just the same. I hope everything you planned to accomplish that day was. That banana walnut muffin sounds delicious.

You have alot to do today. I know that much of it is stressful, but I truly hope that you can relax just a bit while you get your hair cut. I always soak up all of the relaxation I can take while getting my hair cut.
