Didn't get to go to the Title Bureau and bank because my husband's 2nd cousin overslept. We're going today; but it will have to wait until I have my phone meeting with Social Security. I should be able to get a few extra dollars tacked onto my SS payment each month because my husband's payment was just a little more than mine.
The gravel guy stopped by. Sticker shock; but I'm going ahead with the driveway project.
We had some good thunderstorms yesterday; and I see by the radar that more are headed our way.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Spaghetti and Meatballs, mixed veggies, spinach, apricots
Dessert/Snack - Banana walnut muffin
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Cheddar sandwich and Doritos

@LindaOHio I also made a fruit salad with mini marshmallows, mandarin oranges, banana, pecans, chopped celery, and mayo. It was yummy.

@LindaOHio I am glad we sold, I know there were a few things that had to be fixed in the coming months and the roof in a couple of years.

@lovebuglena Found a leak next to the front door. The roof needs to be done ASAP. The first roofer came over yesterday and quoted $26,500!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. Getting new gravel put down in the driveway, going to replace the garage door and opener, get the faucet fixed in the master and a new faucet put in the other bath, two new windowsills, new garage steps...possibly a new roof as well.

@LindaOHio ........Nice. I miss getting my tax refund. I used to use it to pay off the bills I had accrued earlier in the year. Now I don't get it.

We had some storms come through last night but nothing spectacular or even concerning. It's been overcast all day today, and a bit chilly, and that's making me a bit crabby. But it is what it is.
For dinner I made baked, barbecue chicken thighs and oven baked potato on the side. I put butter, bacon bits, French onion dip and shredded cheese on mine. It was delicious. We forewent a veggie, which is rare, but it still worked.

Your meals sound good. I just had my simple home cooked meal for lunch, it was steamed rice, lentils soup, potato and cauliflower fry, tomato, turnips and cucumber for salad. I also had curd and home made mango pickle for side dish.

Surprised you can even get a phone meeting with social security with all the cuts. Yesterday was a low carb day for me, egg casserole, egg salad and Italian sausage for din.

We got some of the chores done. Couldn't get a title for the Toyota. They show it scrapped and previously owned by several people. The VIN # must be wrong on the registration.

Friend that brought me to the Doc and back gave us our belated Christmas gift: a good sized tin of chocolate cookies. I will eat Christmas cookies in July. Other than that, it was brown rice with stirred in eggs and chard on the side for supper. Parmesan cheese, too.
