Had the dryer vent cleaned yesterday. The guy said it was packed with lint. Not surprising since it's been over 20 years since it was done. Today I have a TeleHealth appointment with my doctor.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Swedish meatballs, noodles, mushrooms, peas, Mandarin oranges
Dessert/Snack - Cranberry orange muffin
Dinner - Turkey/cheddar sandwich and Doritos
What did you eat yesterday?

What’s a dryer vent? Is it that long tube thing?

@LindaOHio I don’t think my parents ever cleaned that. And we haven’t done that either.

Yes. Mine has about a 20 foot pipe that comes out under the deck.

@lovebuglena I'd clean it. It's a major fire hazard. It also makes the dryer run less efficiently, and could wear it out faster since it has to work harder to vent the air.

I will go to the grocery store and pick up hamburger buns and will make sloppy Joe mix. I've been craving it lately. I also need to go to Family Services today and drop off my Snap benefits paperwork. It's time to sign up again.

@MarieCoyle Slowly everything is getting done. It's costing a fortune; but that's what happens when you put everything off.

Yeesh. That's a terrible fire hazard. Glad you were able to get it done.
For dinner I made some sort of medley. Heck if I know what you'd call it. But it has fried potatoes in it, kielbasa, onions, bell peppers and broccoli. It was delicious whatever the heck you might call it.

Yes, it should have been done years ago. Your medley sounds good.

@LindaOHio The potatoes wound up disintegrating a bit, but it didn't ruin the dish.
