The Terminix guy came out yesterday afternoon. He checked the baits outside and inside the house; and nothing has been touched; however, there was a small mouse in a trap in the basement. Hopefully he was already in the house because I paid big bucks to have them seal up all the entry points. Later on 3rd cousin came over and got a lot done on my to-do list. It was nice to have a friendly face around.
Today 5/23 the guy from the roofing company is coming to do a whole lot of jobs around the house. He will also put up the new mailbox. On Tuesday 3rd cousin and her husband are coming over to clear out the front of the garage so I can get the new door and opener installed. I also have a new toilet seat that needs to be installed if 2nd cousin doesn't want to do it.
Any plans for the long holiday weekend?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken Alfredo, broccoli, cauliflower, applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/cheddar sandwich and chips
What did you eat yesterday?

I think things are looking up for you. I plan on getting to the pool as often as possible this weekend. Bob is polishing his car, etc. We are watching all the campers pull in for the motorcycle race this weekend. Our little town needs things to draw people in. This is nice.

Yes I'm very lucky. It's just too bad that cousin #3 is working so much from home now. It's hard for her to fit me in.

I didn't realize this was a holiday weekend. With each day seeming just like the last one, I rarely know what day of the week it is, let alone holidays.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast, sour cherries, two chicken strips and a potato roll for "lunch" around 8 pm and am eating the last hamburger I fixed two days ago for supper.

There's no Meals on Wheels for 3 days; so I will be eating the last of the PB&J sandwiches and some frozen dinners.

@LindaOHio If you can, you need to eat some more veggies... I know Green Giant has some really good Mediterranean frozen veggies. And there's also a frozen Farm garden veggie pack (I ate part of one of those a few days ago). You can also order some good bacon hamburgers from the grocery store, too. I just put ketchup and mayo on those.

Or, you could come visit and I'll cook hamburgers or chicken sandwiches for you to eat with us. I'm not a bad cook, if I do say so myself.

I'm glad so much is getting done for you. I admit to feeling sorry for the mouse. Yesterday I went to Safeway for groceries. That generally means I come home with a bakery cookie for us. This time around it was chocolate chunk. Supper was boxed Mac N Cheese with cauliflower and some of those little rice cakes, caramel flavored.

I'm sorry about the mouse; but they are very dirty and carry disease. Cousin #3 had to clean mouse poop off the dining room table. It was full of it. Disgusting.

It's comforting to get help from familiar people. It seems like a busy packed day for you with lot to do around the house. And good that you have enough help.
Your meals sound good.
I am just back from doctor ( follow up after surgery). All is well. I will have my lunch in some time.

@LindaOHio Thank you. Slow and steady progress, doctor says that it's a good one considering the invasive complicated surgery it was.

I'm so glad to hear you have some help. It means a lot I'm sure. We're not doing anything for Memorial Day, but a birthday dinner for Nathan next week.
