Another Warning

I think it was about 4:53am when the tornado sirens went off this morning. My first thought was, well at least my dad and Diana are in Iowa, and I don’t have to worry about them. Started watching the coverage, and it was on the other side of my city, but then the same city that got hit Tuesday got hit again! No fatalities though. I went over to get my dad’s mail this morning. I came home to a package that hadn’t been stolen, but also hadn’t been “saved” by my neighbor. What was in the last package you got? Do you prefer a surprise package, or one you know is coming? Did you get the rain we got last night?

I like all packages but the surprise ones are my favorite. I have to write about one that I received a couple of days ago. LOVE IT!

I look forward to hearing about that one. I seem to be seeing a theme with everything I get lately. Everything is way smaller than it’s supposed to be. I mean way smaller. It’s getting comical.

I like all packages, it is just like having a mini Christmas. I am glad that your Dad and Diana are out of town and that you are safe.

@Juliaacv She must have thought she hit the mother-in-law jackpot when she married your son. I am so glad you seem to feel the same way about her.

@AmbiePam Oh my goodness, my heart feels so happy, I feel so blessed. I spent the morning with the girls plus my hubs, and the afternoon with the girls plus my son and had a really good visit with my daughter-in-law when she came into the family room to take her lunch. Both girls fell asleep and were quiet on the couch and her and I actually got alone time to chat. She is such a sweetheart, the time we used to spend together is something that I totally miss now that we have the girls, not that I would ever want to change that though.

I usually feel like I need to tell people in case they have a nosy neighbor or someone’s package routinely ends up down the street. And they wouldn’t know there was anything missing. I even tell my dad when I send him something.

I was watching coverage out of Lubbock, Texas tonight. The area got hit for the second day in a row, too. Yesterday the hail was hitting the roof of the TV station so hard you could NOT hear the meteorologists talking on their microphones…and those TV rooms are supposed to be insulated for soundproofing!!! Anyway, glad there were no fatalities where you are. I usually get surprise packages from the VA…never know when a medication I ordered last month is finally going to show up.

We've been getting your rain all morning and I'm getting tired of you passing rain and storms on to me. Please keep them from now on.

We're waiting on a jumper/sweater that we bought online for Vince. We're going away before lunch. What's the betting it arrives while we're gone?

We had rain and thunderstorms last night. Our last package was possibly a med that Bob gets from the VA. Before that, I am not sure. I like to know what is coming.

It's good you were not hit by the tornado, and no one was hurt in the other place. I like surprises - only the good ones. And yes, we got a slight drizzle last night.

Your neighbor got the message, now you can find your packages. I received a package from IKEA yesterday, I needed some boxes to store my stuff.

That must be exhausting, worrying about those tornados.

The ones at night or early early morning bother me the most because I can’t see what is coming.

Surprise packages are always fun; but I always wish the sender would save his/her money! The last package I received had a manual for my new camera. We had rain but no downpours.

All of our packages are tracked by the RFID so both the buyers and sellers can trace where is the parcel. The only issue is if the neighbour will take your parcel after it had been delivered.

I am glad to hear that the tornado didn't hit in your part of the city, but I am sure sorry you had another one. That's terrible for those people, a double whammy. We just had a drizzly pitter patter last night, not a lot. Terribly humid. I love to give surprise packages...they are so fun. Of course, getting them is fun, too.
