I guess officially my next trip is September, but I imagine I’ll be going somewhere between now and then. My dad’s side of the family has that Fourth of July family get away, but I can’t go to that. It’s just so hot even my dad is like, don’t try.
Is your next trip a long awaited vacation? A weekend getaway?

Sounds like you’ve got a fun September trip to look forward to! And yeah, skipping the Fourth of July scorcher sounds smart—sometimes even family traditions aren’t worth melting for, haha. Maybe you can sneak in a quick, cooler getaway before September? A beach weekend or a mountain escape?
As for me, I just got back from an epic two-week trip through California, Nevada, and Arizona—celebrated my aunt’s birthday in LA, hiked in Yosemite, and stood in awe at the Grand Canyon. Now, my wife and I are counting down to a short but sweet Singapore adventure next month! Can’t wait for the food and the sights.

I'm planning to go to my Happy Place, Sunshine Meadows in Banff in the fall. I've never been except to ski and I've always wanted to see it without snow.
Will spend time with family in Calgary.
Also hoping to get to Winnipeg, Vancouver, and New Brunswick to visit family..

We don't usually make trips anymore. We never know if my eyes will swell closed while we're gone and strand us somewhere. We stay close to home.
I hope you enjoy any trips you take this summer.

@AmbiePam Yes, it can be... Once last summer, I took Pretty to one of her specialists in Joplin, Missouri, and my eyes swelled closed while I waited for her to be done. I held my right eye open and drove home like that. I didn't like it, it hurt like the blazes and my eyes stayed swollen shut for a week after we got home.

Maybe after the summer, but for now nothing is planned. I'll just enjoy visiting family, going on the beach, and getting some outdoor exercise.

We will run down to Guthrie probably on the weekend of the 21st. I only have the one sibling left. I do not know when or if we will have a bigger trip. We do some day trips here around Kansas when we can. Usually involves a restaurant somewhere, or shopping.

Going to PA next week (However I manage to get there) and again in August I think. I want to go to OBX (outer banks of NC), but hard to pick days that are not too hot, storming or crowded. We will see what happens.

We want to get away for a weekend this summer, but we haven't really nailed down a date for that.
We want to visit Goderich, Ontario, which is on Lake Huron.
I think that Lake Huron is such a pretty lake, it is very deep and the breeze from it is beautiful.
