We had a really busy week here. As I wrote in my last post my husband broke a tooth. We were blessed to get an appointment Monday with our dentist. It was an easy fix and looks brand new now.
Monday was our 36 th wedding anniversary, so we had to reschedule our anniversary date. It worked out that we could go out the next day instead.
Originally we were going to catch a matinee and have dinner at a restaurant. We did go to see “Jurassic World Rebirth “, but our son wanted to cook us a special dinner. It was better than anything we could have gotten at a restaurant.
The last few days I’ve been doing yard work and plan to do some more today if the weather permits.
On a sour note my husband seems to have caught a summer cold. It has been pretty mild and so far I haven’t caught it.

I am glad your son cooked for you and that is good news about the tooth. It is hot here and I am not doing as much as I should. Have a good week.

Happy belated Anniversary! Oh, a home-cooked meal is usually better than a restaurant, anyway! And the company is always good!
Did you enjoy the movie? Is it worth my time going to see it?
I hope your hubby feels better quickly and you don't catch his cold.

We did enjoy the movie. The original one is still our favorite, but this one is good. We thought probably better than the ones in between.

@Tampa_girl7 I've watched and enjoyed all the movies in the Jurassic series but, the first one is still my favorite. Jurassic World Rebirth comes up on the movie channel I watch sometimes so I'll watch it and see what I think.

First let me say congratulation on your anniversary! glad you were able to enjoy a nice meal that your son had prepared which seems extra special considering he did if for you.
Glad that your husband was able to get his tooth fixed but sorry to hear he has a cold. Hope you don't catch it.

Happy Anniversary if I didn't wish you it already. 36 years is a long time. I hope you do not catch the cold. A special meal is always nice even better if cooked with love.

Thanks, the years flew by fast. In November we have been together 37 years. We were only a couple for 8 months before we married.
