You Mean Dirt Forms There?

I am VERY embarrassed to say, that it was a very long time (won't say exactly how long), until a couple of weeks ago, that my husband and I did a thing. What is the thing that we did? We pulled the refrigerator out and cleaned the dust and dirt under it!
I have never seen such dirt and grime!
Question for you MyLot friends: How often do you clean under your refrigerator?

I can't move our fridge. When we moved into this rental house, the landlady sent over a big guy to move the fridge to empty the water pan underneath it. He scratched the new wood flooring across the kitchen doing it. I took pictures and sent them to the landlady. I'm not being blamed for something her hired help did.
I don't like the thought of not being able to clean under it but I'm not strong enough to move it. The landlady can clean under there when we move out.

They make an attachment for your vacuum cleaner that converts to a single tube that is flexible and small enough to insert under and alongside of refrigerators and ovens.
You just slowly push the tube in, wiggling it slightly as you go. It may pick up larger things but you just pull the tube back out and clear it. It won't pick up coins or any item larger than the tube. It can be used to remove dirt and dust without moving the appliance.

If you are taking about floor beneath the fridge it is swept as many times as we do the whole house.

When I have to clean the circulation fan.
Dust can build up under the fridge and get so bad, that the fan impeller slows or stops causing the temperature in the refrigerator to drop below safe levels. It would be a good idea to pull the fridge out once a year to vacuum the floor, the back wall, the coils and the vents. But I end up doing it only after I've noticed an issue.
Did you notice a temperature change or did you just pull it out specifically to clean?

I haven't cleaned under ours since we've been here. At least I don't think I have. What I can't see doesn't worry me too much!
