I am very sorry you have not been invited. The relatives of your husband do not seem to be very kind.

Sorry to hear that you weren't invited, that would be hurtful. And sorry about the ice cream. Hopefully they will carry more in the future of the one you can have.

I’m so sorry you were not included in the family get together. You deserve better. Yesterday, I had skirt steak with gravy and onions, a salad, and popcorn.

The only ice cream (well, gelato technically) that I can eat without problems is Talenti. At least from the options I can buy at the grocery store. I have found in the past that I can eat ice cream from Coldstone Creamery without any issues. Kind of makes me wonder if the stuff they sell is really ice cream! lol

I did not do anything exciting over the weekend but I had fun visiting most of my manuscripts to ready it for submission to my editor.

Yesterday was Taco Bell, steak and eggs, and Cheerios. That is a shame they didn't invite you, when they know you are alone.

How sad it is but you will be all right.

Last night we had homemade pizza.

Uhm... if it is a family gathering and your hubby was part of the family, then you don't NEED an invitation... You show up if you feel like it... You're family by marriage. That's a shame that Walmart doesn't carry more flavors of the ice cream you can eat... Did you check their website and see if you could have it shipped to you instead of buying it through the Walmart closest to you? They will deliver stuff that the store doesn't have in stock straight to your house. (We can't get deliveries like that here because our city is too small for the service but you don't live in a small city.) I ate a chicken salad sandwich for breakfast, had chicken fries and steamed mixed veggies for lunch and ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for supper last night with an ice cream cone for dessert.

Fried some potatoes and finished my sauteed sauerkraut with kielbasa.

Friend got me off my duff and walking a couple of blocks instead of just one then she stayed and had tea with us. That was Saturday. I hope you get more than sandwiches for food soon.

Oh Linda That's awful that you were not invited to the family gathering. You were married into that family for a long time.. It's sad nobody thought about you.

The only thing I did was to go to dentist with my wife (not fun) and to visit my sister in her home. My meals for yesterday Breakfast - Bread with coffee Lunch - Roast meat with rice Dinner - Potato Wedges with BBQ chicken pizza

Sorry you can’t eat ice cream. I can eat ONE yogurt with no problem, but TWO will get my stomach hurting. Chicken taco salad for lunch and a visit with LooeyVille, yogurt for snack, strawberry sorbet for fruit, Boca burger and potatoes O’Brien for dinner with a fiber bar.

I cooked white rice, steamed broccoli and baked salmon for me and the wife. spent my Sunday lounging

Lots of quiet over there. It's almost eerily quiet for me too listening to your personal quiet. lol. For dinner we made teriyaki marinated pork steaks on the grill with a salad and macaroni and cheese on the side. Very good eats, but honestly...we're saladed out now, and so salad fixings will be off the list for at least a couple of weeks.
