My cabinet is now put together; and one corner of the house looks neat and organized.
Nothing much going on today. I have several PB&J sandwiches left over; so I may have those instead of eating something out of the freezer.
Just a reminder, especially to those that live in the south...please bring your pets inside in this terribly hot weather. And don't leave children, pets or elderly in a car in the sun.
What's going on with you today?
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin
Dinner - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips, ice cream bar
What did you eat yesterday?

We'll do a little yard work early this morning and then back in the A/C.
I ate chicken taquitos for breakfast, a slice of cheese pizza for lunch and made a burger minus the bun for supper last night. I had fried and spiced onions to go with the burger. YUM!

Another extremely hot day here, and even more humid since it poured and flooded streets yesterday afternoon and evening. Once again, a few funnel clouds sighted, but none touched down, which is always more than fine with me! I tried to spend some time in the yard this morning, but it's just miserable out there.
I was so tired yesterday, I can't really remember what I ate. I recall a big green salad and some watermelon slices. Oh, and I had some toast with peanut butter. I was on the run all day long, and it was just too hot to eat.

I'm glad you have the PB&J sandwiches extra.
Thanks for that reminder. My daughter keeps the cats in but that one scallywag, Colbert, won't come in.

@celticeagle Yes but it's very expensive. Olive Garden is having a free delivery special right now; but it's quite a distance away. I would have to give the delivery person quite a big tip.

The city of Tampa hit an all-time record today of 100 degrees. It doesn't sound bad (it gets over a hundred several times a year here in Gainesville), but Tampa is on the coast and is cooled down by gentle sea breezes. So it's crazy to hear that they hit 100 degrees today.
I made a point of staying inside all day today due to the extreme heat.

@LindaOHio I always thought it was ironic that we adjust the time (daylight savings time) to make it stay light outside longer in the summer, yet we cannot even go outside to enjoy that additional daylight because it is too hot, too muggy, and there are too many mosquitoes. We should do the opposite, change our time so it stays daylight longer in the winter, when it is actually nice enough for us Floridians to enjoy being outside.

@moffittjc I agree. I thought they were going to pass that law; but I haven't heard anything further on it.

Yeah, it's a pity that FL residents have to stay inside because of the heat.

We went early to church where it was nice and cool. The cats like it outdoors in the heat, but we keep containers of water around for them. Bruno has a lawn chair in the shade he likes. Not sure where Pedro hides. I have done a big fat nothing today. Did take a nap in my comfy chair. I did not even make it here.I imagine you are really happy to have that cabinet set up. I moved some furniture as it was not back against the wall like it needed to be and vacuumed yesterday evening.

I didn’t wake up until noon yesterday, so I stayed home, eating Boca burgers, broccoli & potato “casserole,” mixed fruit sorbet, yogurt, apples, and fiber.

The problem in Florida is that many cats are loners and outside cats and there is no one to round up those. I had roasted potatoes and chicken fingers,
