Well we had some raucous thunderstorms with some downpours. We needed the rain...I just don't care for the really loud and close thunder!!!
As far as I know, cousin #3 is still coming this afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed. I have a Telehealth appointment this afternoon too. Tomorrow I go to get my blood drawn and go to the bank to take my husband's name off the accounts and to update the beneficiaries.
I was so tired yesterday morning that I did the Notifications but not the Discussions; so I will have 2 days' worth to do today.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken Alfredo with spaghetti, roll, cauliflower, broccoli and apricots
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Muenster sandwich, tortilla chips, Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie

Almost everything we've been eating lately was cold, too. It's just too hot. At least we did get storms and rain the last few days.

I beat a flash flood warning through St. Louis yesterday afternoon. Those interstates don’t have drainage. 
Here, we had heavy rain on one side of town and nary a drop on the other.
I had Dickey’s Barbecue smoked chicken for lunch and HOME for dinner, with rice and yogurt (which hurt my stomach after two weeks of not eating dairy) and applesauce smothered in cinnamon!!

@LindaOHio I know that out west, in Alberta, they had bad hail storms. That is concerning given it can ruin crops.

It was a fairly quiet evening here, for us.
For dinner I made I guess what one might call a beefy noodle dish. I browned some ground beef and set it aside. Then cooked up onions with mushrooms with a little bit of red bell pepper I had left. Added the beef back in and made a mixture of 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon of flour and a packet of French onion soup mix and whisked that up. Poured it in the meat mixture and then added a can of cream of mushroom soup and added in cooked egg noodles.
It was very good.

@LindaOHio I suspect it will be even better the second time around after it marinates a bit. Stuff like that usually is.

Hard to remember yesterday. I think we had leftover pizza for lunch. Polynesian pizza with pineapple, tomatoes, bell peppers, ham and bacon bits. It was from a chain called Gambinos.We had thunderstorms last Saturday into Sunday.

We're due for some rain (or thunderstorms) later this afternoon. We need the rain but I hope we don't get storms.
Hope cousin shows up today and hope your telehealth appointments goes well. They're so much more convenient than having to actually go to the doctor.

I had chicken salad yesturday. It was so hot and I didn’t want any thing cooked.
I would not have enjoyed the thunder storms !
