Greetings From Mississippi

I am waiting on a grocery delivery. The drop off doorway is from 12-2:00 this afternoon. I am so grateful that we now have this service here. My husband is working today. He will be working tomorrow too, but has a three day weekend next week. I have been doing some things around the house and reading a book that a friend gave me. I think I will finish it up before the weekend is over. I am baking some chicken thighs for dinner and making green beans and mac and cheese to go with it. It has been a nice day so far. I may go out in a bit and work in the yard. What are you up to today ? Has your day been as exciting as mine ?

That's great. We sure enjoy having it here. My daughter used to have to lug things home. Glad to hear you are having a nice day. Sometimes it's just too hot to be doing much.

I have had a long day but a good day. My husband and I spent much of the day with our daughter-in-law and the twins, as our son is away for a golf game. It would have been a long day for her with the girls and no help.

We have some really good grocery delivery services here and they are in business for years now. I don't remember the last time I have picked up grocery from physical store. It's all online for me. We have services like Blinkit that delivers all necessary items including grocery in 10 minutes

I really enjoy the ability to have groceries delivered too. Saves on time and I'm not walking around the store adding things to my cart that catch my attention. Today is a rainy day and the temperatures have cooled off a bit. I'm sure we'll get some hot weather again before August says good-bye.
