I am waiting on a grocery delivery. The drop off doorway is from 12-2:00 this afternoon. I am so grateful that we now have this service here.
My husband is working today. He will be working tomorrow too, but has a three day weekend next week.
I have been doing some things around the house and reading a book that a friend gave me. I think I will finish it up before the weekend is over.
I am baking some chicken thighs for dinner and making green beans and mac and cheese to go with it.
It has been a nice day so far. I may go out in a bit and work in the yard.
What are you up to today ? Has your day been as exciting as mine ?

Those are gorgeous wildflowers. I wish we had delivery service here, but we do not, at least not that I know of.

I am trying to get through a book that a friend gave me. It's quite interesting but I find it hard to get off the computer to read.

That's great. We sure enjoy having it here. My daughter used to have to lug things home. Glad to hear you are having a nice day. Sometimes it's just too hot to be doing much.

We have some really good grocery delivery services here and they are in business for years now. I don't remember the last time I have picked up grocery from physical store. It's all online for me. We have services like Blinkit that delivers all necessary items including grocery in 10 minutes

I'm glad you can get groceries delivered, I use instacart a lot these days, it saves me time and wear and tear on my car
