Well, we shot another month in the behind. Today is 8/31. Where did this year go?
Looks like none of us won the PowerBall jackpot. It's now up to $1.1 billion.
There will be no Meals on Wheels for Monday and Wednesday of this week. Cousin #2 is going to bring me a chicken strips basket from DQ on Labor Day. Yum.
The lawyer had to cancel; so this Thursday I will get my Renal Ultrasound out of the way. I have to drink 16-32 oz. of liquids 1 hour before the test.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - PB&J sandwich, chips. peach yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Little Debbie Mini Cherry Pie
Dinner - Chicken egg rolls
What did you eat yesterday?

Yep, and it looks like another ticket run is in order. I was sure someone would win, but here we are.
For dinner we had stopped at a place in Perryville called Stonies, about an hour and a half away who carries 30 varieties of brats and got a few packs. So, we made up the garlic parmesan ones we got on the grill and had a salad on the side. Good eats.
They're a bit pricey at $6.99 a pound, but worth it.

I don't think I'll get another ticket. What were you doing an hour and a half away from home?

@LindaOHio We like to just hop in the truck and take little rides sometimes to towns we like.

Yesterday was a biscuit with gravy (McDonald’s), cherry tomatoes, and a chicken sandwich from Braum’s (a hamburger place in the Midwest). I didn’t have anything at home other than cherry tomatoes so my dad brought me soon food. I also had a Cherry limeade which I hadn’t had in like 15 years. It was good, but tasted different than I remember.

I won $2 in a billion-dollar lottery once. Please respect my privacy.
Chicken & cheese-stuffed baked potato for lunch, chicken soup and salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing for dinner, and the usual snacks of fiber, yogurt, and applesauce.

DQ is usually yum. Hope you enjoy. I had hero cerel, leftover spaghetti with meat sauce and pre made chicken cordon bleu.

Yes this calendar year seems to have passed so quickly for me I know.
Today is a beautiful bright and sunny morning.
We have an outdoor party to go to later on this afternoon, and they have the absolute perfect day for it.
Last evening, I cut up round steak into thin strips, marinated them, and then pan fried them with mushrooms and small potatoes that were too big to use on skewers, I parboiled them first then fried them with everything else so everything had that nice same flavour.

@LindaOHio Thanks, we facetimed with our son and the girls, they miss Grandpa so much.
We will go over there in a little while, and then come home before the party.

All I know is the days are getting too short and winter will be here before you know it. Sigh.

Did I misunderstand.? You have to drink 16 32 oz containers of liquid? Or is it 16-32 oz of liquids an hour before your scan? We had a frozen pizza last night, DiGiorno rising crust supreme. Fresh oranges with it. It was good. Of course hubby added extra cheddar cheese.

It's 16 to 32 oz. of liquid before the scan. Pizza is always good.

If you are going to take tests, try to consume few carbohydrates and sugars so as not to alter the results at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, I think you had a healthy meal.
