September Has Arrived

Happy Tuesday Everyone! it's a bright sunny day here with pleasant temperatures.
We had a nice long holiday weekend and now today feels more like Monday than Tuesday.
My daughter went to one of her friends for a barbecue on Sunday and they have a huge garden so she came home loaded up with zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers and basil. 
While she was gone for the day I finally finished the series The Waterfront. (on Netflix) I really enjoyed it but was sorry to hear it wasn't renewed for season two.
Today is just a routine day with the usual stuff to do around the house. Certainly nothing exciting.
So, now I'm going to enjoy my coffee and chat here for awhile.

Everyone seems to have a bounty of produce this time of year! The weekends are always very quiet for me. I would love some company.

We had a long and wet weekend. We find at school that Tuesday Mondays are harder for the kids than Monday Mondays, and they seem twice as long. Enjoy that fresh produce.

It is a lovely late summer's day here as well.
I just love this weather so much.
We have a wedding to go to this Saturday, but it will be at an outdoor venue, and the weather is going to cool down before that. I suppose that spells new dress shopping for me.

We had a very quiet weekend here. We didn't go anywhere or do anything. (I spend most of my time reading a series of books by a favorite author. I'm on the 4th book in a series of 7.)

Feels like September came with fall weather, I had a nice weekend with my wife. We did dinner and a movie and a concert on Sunday. Enjoying the cooler weather
