I wish I had something really exciting to tell you; but I'm afraid not. I did call cousin #3 yesterday and left a message for her to call me...nada. I don't get it.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Hungry Man Turkey Dinner
Dessert/Snack - None
Dinner - I always wanted to try Brie Cheese so I bought a wedge from Walmart and some Triscuit Crackers. I put the cheese in the microwave for about a minute or so and had it with the Triscuits. It was quite good. I also had a fruit cup of peaches.
What did you eat yesterday?

I ate a chicken strip with some steamed veggies for breakfast yesterday, ate a large peach and two bananas for lunch and ate two more of the chicken strips with steamed veggies for supper last night. I also ate two honey buns for dessert.

@LindaOHio I like fruits and veggies almost as much as I like meats.
I hope you can add more of them to your diet.
The new-to-me diabetic shots mean I'm not hungry all the time anymore. That's helping a lot.

@DaddyEvil I need to change my whole diet. The Kidney Disease book came yesterday. I made a post on this; but I'm taking too much calcium (it also caused the kidney stones I have), I need to cut down on salt and follow a Mediterranean diet. That's good that the shots are making you less hungry. I will need to lose some weight too.

I think cousin #3 is one to be taken off the list of people you can depend on. Ugh!

Chicken & cheese-stuffed baked potato!! I had an egg white and turkey sausage “breakfast” bowl for dinner. Strawberry sorbet (which has my GERD acting up
), fiber, and applesauce!

@LindaOHio — oh, yes, I have a little pill for the reflux. Right now, though, I’m having a panic attack over the jury duty thing, so nothing is helping.

Do you take meds for your GERD? I have GERD and a hiatal hernia (sp?); and the meds take care of them.

@FourWalls Chill mama! You haven't been called, have you? I totally understand though. I get anxious anytime I have to go out because I worry that there won't be a place for me to sit down right away.

@LindaOHio - No, I am not lactose intolerant, but I have a problem with cheese made with unpasteurized milk that have not been aged, like Brie and Camembert.

@LadyDuck I see. Even when I take lactose pills I can't eat a lot of ice cream or ANY milk. I'm glad there are oat milk ice cream and milk options.

Have you ever had chicken? It has more flavor than chicken, especially the dark meat. It's hard to describe the taste.

The brie with triscuits and fruit sounds quite good. I am not sure what we ate yesterday. I had a bowl of high fiber cereal for a bed time snack. I think I only had apples and peanut butter for supper. Now I remember so I came back. We had a cinnamon roll and a jar of Oui yogurt and a banana (with coffee) for breakfast and we had sub sandwich and a cookie for lunch.

There is a lot of food in the hungry man dinners.
For breakfast I made pancakes and syrup on top. Grape juice to drink.
For lunch I fixed pork sausage and cheese burritos.
For dinner I fixed pork chops, hash browns and a fresh peach.
No snacks.

I was afraid that it was a stinky strong cheese but not so.
