Almost the same here. 90F by late this afternoon but we have a 30% chance of rain/storms by this afternoon/overnight. It sprinkled here yesterday afternoon and then again during the night but it didn't help cool us down any. I just arranged for Pretty and I to get Covid boosters this afternoon after I get done at the hospital. (I have an ultrasound scheduled to check my thyroid since I haven't had one since January 2024. My regular doctor wants to make sure I haven't started any thyroid cancer or other problems.) I have an appointment with a new Endocrinologist (thyroid specialist) at the end of November. Have a good swim and have fun at the Guitar Center later today.

We have been hitting 92-94 for highs but today it is cloudy and the high is expected to only reach 88. That will be a nice change!!

@TheHorse I doubt it. Only like a 15% chance. Yesterday it rained all up and down our road, but stopped at the bottom of the hill before it got to our house! Crazy!

Someone told me that Maluse is in a nursing home, I noticed she was becoming forgetful when we exchanged emails several months ago.

Have you heard from Maluse? She is the one who "trained" me to add "F" to my temperature reports. I am still pretty good at converting F to C. Sometimes it's intuitive,and sometimes I actually do the math.

It hit 90 about 2 PM. Hot days all this week here. I enjoyed the little cool spell we had, but it's gone and the heat roared back in again. Ugh.
