Tell Me Something Funny

I was hoping someone could make me laugh today. Anyone have a funny story? This one was funny to me, but it may just be me who is amused. My sister fell down the stairs at her house (not the funny part). All three kids were upstairs, and my BIL was outside. Hearing this, Hudson and Amyra came downstairs and went outside to get their dad. As they did, the phone in my sister’s back pocket dinged. She fished it out, and it was a text from then 5 year old Annelyn from upstairs; it was the prayer hands emoji.
*The kids do not have their own phone, but they can text from their tablet to their parents (their house is big, and this is apparently handy).
*Mindy broke a rib, but is fine now.

I am so glad to hear your sister is better. Broken ribs are not fun!! That little Annelyn is a smart cookie!
I was at a store yesterday and the lady in line in front of me was dressed to perfection, in really nice clothing. She carried a Prada purse, and her shoes were Italian leather. She flashed several diamond rings and diamond earrings…designer jeans. But the perfection ended when I realized she had her v neck shirt on inside out, with the tag displayed and the size. Oops!!

@MarieCoyle I wouldn’t have told her either! You can tell which people would want you to tell them, and the people that will bite your head off.

I wasn’t going to tell her. There are already enough angry people out there without me helping to create one more! But I bet when she figured out she wore her shirt inside out in public, she was irritated!

That is funny (or we can laugh now because she’s okay).
I’m having a little sad-but-funny: I ordered something from Amazon and tried to cancel it before it shipped (because it shipped the day after it was supposed to arrive). They told me I couldn’t cancel it but I could refuse or return it…which is more money than just canceling the order.

My oldest son said the same thing--make sure you really want the item(s) because canceling them can be a big headache.

@ambiepam Funny? Maybe some folk won’t find it funny but I laughed for a long time when a fellow minister told me that when he called at the house of a bereaved family they wanted him to sit on the bed beside the corpse to have a photo taken. When I visited another family I was invited in to the bedroom to view Nora who was sitting propped up in her coffin with a Bible open in her hands ant Psalm 23 and wearing her reading glasses.

I've posted about this one before. My uncle was riding his bike down the boardwalk after a night out. He chose to go on a street that had no ramps so he flew through the air laughing all the while, and then had to drag his busted bike back to his place. We've been talking about that story for decades.

Ouch! Glad she's okay, and what a sweetie Annelyn is!
My funny story is from several years ago at a daycare I worked at. A little boy had evidently been told to behave at school. Out on the yard he ran up to me and said proudly, "I'm being a have!" and ran off. I remember laughing.

I always look for the humor in things, although some things are not funny at the time of the incident (like falling down the stairs). Just glad to hear that she was okay, despite breaking a rib.
I had a really funny joke that I heard at work yesterday, and it was one I said I would definitely have to remember, and of course this morning I can't remember what it was! lol

What a sweet kid. Broken ribs are really painful I believe. I'm trying hard to think of something funny but not having much luck. 
We did get lost while on a walk which was funny once we worked out where we were. We still don't know how we got to that particular place.

Falling down is easy but getting up needs help
This made us both laugh years ago It was pretty dark outside and we could hear some noise on the road. I quickly put the bedroom light on and that is soon I realised that was an idiotic thing I did. How could I see what's on the road with the bedroom light on.
