We stayed at 46 most of the day. And the wind stayed strong and cold. I was very happy to stay inside.
I did get the last of the plants in. Remembered to bring my water hose in. Also cleaned some. I made an apple crisp for dessert. The chilli was great.
I will stay inside the rest of the day. All of my chores are finished. Hope you had a good day.

I bought some groceries and got them out. And with the aid of Anita we washed 2 loads of clothes. The sun dried everything. I´m sorry that you are heading towards winter. I´d love to live in a place where there was no winter at all.

I worked in the kitchen, washing dishes, cleaning counters and swept the floor. Then went to bed around noon and slept until Pretty woke me up around 7 pm to give me my shot. .
We still haven't turned the heat on in the house yet. The insulation is working well. The house only got down to 68F while the temp outside was 40F.

We finally saw sunshine but that wind was crazy. We made it up to 49, I think. If it wasn’t so windy it would have been a decent day.

You still got quite a lot done. We had light rain but by afternoon the temps were mild and everything was dry. We finished the garden bed finally. It isn't put together like the sketchy directions suggested but it is a rectangle so good enough. I also picked up more rotten apples- that job will be ongoing for a while. Bending really hurts my legs and back so I can only do it for a little while.

My next projects outside won't start until after a killing frost hits. That might be tonight. Then it will be time to bring the dahlias and glad bulbs in.
We simply used rubber maid water troughs. No putting together. Glad you got it done.

Chili and apple crisp sounds so good. I like a lot of beans in my chili; but I can't have beans anymore. Sigh.

I have those expanding hoses and they don't do good if they freeze. The old rubber hose stays out.

Just now
@wolfgirl569 Ah. I suppose that makes sense. I don't use the expanding ones.

"very happy to stay inside." That's what I say, But
we have to go out today to get a few things, BUT
as soon as we're done I'm going to get back in my
hibernation den-cabin & call it done for the day.

That's what I do this time of year. Get things fed and watered then back to hibernation
