Off to bed.

I don't write much about being off to bed. But it is a happy part of my day. Kitty got some wet food this evening after I got home. I had Sushi for dinner. .My students did well at Guitar Center. I get to sleep now. I have my LL Bean sheets and a thick comforter on my bed. Life is good by my humble standards. Have you ever just looked forward to bed?

I always look forward of going to bed after a long day working inside of the home assisting my relatives in doing the housework of throwing out the cat litter into the trash can.

I would LOVE to be able to nap or have a good night's sleep. It was one of my goals when I retired; but it was not to be. I'm lucky if I get 2 hours a day.

@TheHorse I have no idea. Nah, I don't drink anymore. Besides, my drink of choice would be vodka and cranberry juice or champagne.

I do sometimes. Especially if I do not have to set an alarm for the next day. There are lots of little pleasures we do not acknowledge.

It sounds like you had a very nice day. When I was a young single mother, I enjoyed my alone time after my daughter was put to bed. I also enjoyed getting under the covers and going to sleep in my comfy bed. I've also had days off when I worked in my garden which can be grueling work. I really looked forward to bed on those days too.
