How is the time change treating you?

I’m one of the few that doesn’t mind the time change (usually). However, this year, my sleep has been so messed up that I might have changed my mind. I woke up at 3:45am this morning, and never went back to sleep. I never have to set an alarm, and now I really don’t. It’s been a second since we (at least Americans, @Ladyduck said they did it last week) changed clocks. How’s it going?

I confirm, we changed last week. When we go back to non DST time I never have problems, when we switch to DST I have a hard time getting up one hour earlier for a few days.

@AmbiePam - One hour is not too bad, we adjust in a couple of days. When we traveled to your country, 6 hours was not easy and even harder 9 hours when we went to the west coast.

I just hate that it's getting dark so soon.

I totally understand that. By spring, I’ll be so ready for more sunlight.

I like this change because I got to go to work in the daylight. Of course as the season progresses that will not last. I did wake up in the night, but I have things on my mind.

I can understand why going to work in the daylight is so appealing. I feel uncomfortable driving in the dark, and do my best to avoid it. But when it comes to some things, like work, you just can’t.

When I was a kid I loved the extra sleep, but now sleeping later is a rare event. I’m sure I’ll adjust.

It takes me several days to get used to it and I keep the LED clock by my bed on the old time to remind me of the difference,

I didn't sleep very well and didn't get that extra hour we are supposed to get excited about Poor Mush didn't understand we changed the clocks so she was all messed up when she didn't eat on time. More than the time change I hate the fact that it gets darker earlier in the evening. Pitch dark at 5pm

The early darkness does start to bother me after a month or so. It tends to affect my mood no matter how hard I try to prevent it. Honestly, Marilyn, it makes me feel lonely.

My sleep has been super weird, too, but I finally got a good night's sleep last night. I don't like it getting dark earlier, though.

I went to bed early last night and Nico was up meowing around 2 or 2:30. I am a light sleeper so wasn't horrible for me..but I don't like him demanding to be fed so early.

I don´t mind the time change now that I´m retired. I tend to take naps during the day and stay awake part of the night watching TV.

I still find it annoying to change clocks back and forth. We really need to pick a time and leave the clocks alone. I don't have to be up or go to bed at any certain time but changing the clocks is still annoying. (I only have two I have to change manually but that's still two I shouldn't have to fool with.)
