What am I talking about? The Mountain Dew Baja Blast Chiller Pie (with Graham cracker crust). I guess Taco Bell carries unique flavors of Mountain Dew, and after teasing it last year they released an official pie in Southern California and Texas this year for the Baja Blast flavor. It retails for twenty dollars in grocery stores, and of course, supplies are limited. I’m not a Mountain Dew fan, but people have said it tastes like key lime pie, which I’ve always thought was tasty. Are you interested in trying it? Have you heard of anything created lately that the world was better off without? And I’m talking food or drink wise.

That doesn't attract me. If it was German chocolate cake, I might be headed to the store.

I imagine the pie to be that nuclear green color too . I'm trying to cut out as much junk food as possible, so I'd pass on this pie (says the person who's been munching up Halloween chocolates lately ).

For $20 I'd rather have real Key lime pie. I think the pickle creations that they came out with, especially the drink, wouldn't be good.

@LindaOHio Novelties do pretty well just due to curiosity. I’ll try to find out.

@AmbiePam The original color looked nauseating to me, and I could never get past that.

Reading your post just reminds me of the pink lemonade pie I used to make. I wonder if I used Mountain Dew instead if it would work out. It sure would not cost $20.

Pink lemonade pie, yum! If you make a Mountain Dew pie, you’ll have to tell us how it works out.

For sure I would not taste that one, I am not even a fan of Key Lime pie. I have heard of cream cheese with taste of chocolate that flopped and had a short life.

I think it would be cheaper to make my own key lime or lemon pie.

Key lime pies are delicious if you get one from someone who knows how to bake well.

I like Mountain Dew soft drinks a lot myself. I have yet to try the Dew Baja Blast Chiller Pie though.

I read about this earlier today. I do not like mountain dew anything so I am not sure that I would like the pie, especially at $20.00. I've never had key lime pie.

I hope you can try a key lime pie sometime. I believe Yoplait has a key lime pie yogurt if you ever are looking for a yogurt to try. It would give you an idea of the taste.

Nope... I do like Mountain Dew but don't like key lime pie so I won't be trying the Chiller Pie. I'm glad you made that specification...
