I know it’s not even past Thanksgiving for Americans, but I’ve always thought a month isn’t enough time to have up a beautiful tree. This is the Christmas tree in the Grand Californian Hotel at Disneyland. I thought it was beautiful. Is you tree up? If not, when will you put it up?

@AmbiePam I hate to be a Debbie Downer; but I'm not feeling very merry this year.

Nope... We're lucky if I get our little tree out a week before Christmas.
When Pretty was little, I'd put the tree up a couple of weeks before Christmas with her help and then take it down Christmas afternoon, with her help. When she didn't want to help me take it down anymore, I gave the tree away and we didn't put one up for several years. Then I bought the 5 inch tree we have now.

I agree with you I love seeing a christmas tree up as soon as november hits. Being Puerto Rican our holiday season in Nov-Jan so thats how long me and my family keep ours up. Unfortunately we have to buy a new one but don't know if we will get to this year. Considering doing something like a pinterest wall tree

I will start decorating for Christmas and winter the weekend after Thanksgiving. It is fun to see all the special sights. I try to have some decor that can stay in place until February or so. I got a new table cloth with snowmen.

Due to my relatives buying groceries for the cats in the house, there are no plans to buy any Christmas trees this year.

We don't have room for a tree, either. We might put a battery into the 5 inch tree we have. The battery usually lasts about two days. That's more than enough for me.
