Good morning all. How are you today?
Today is a chilly 1 F and feels like -9 F. Yep, it's cold out there.
Today is my neighbor's birthday. I told her I would take her out for her birthday after my chiropractor appointment this morning. We also have shopping to do. So, I won't be here as much as usual for a Thursday. If we get back to the complex in time, there's Canasta at noon, so I might not see the inside of my apartment until after 3 this afternoon. It's going to be a play it by ear day.
So, I apologize for my not being here again today as much as I'd like to interact with you.
What does your day look like? Will you be busy, or is this one of your few non busy days? Let me know in the comments. As much as I would like to post a picture, I'm having trouble posting them because they're too big.

Good morning. I hope you have some fun on your outing today and I'm glad I'm staying inside where it's warm.
My plans for the day include sleeping, dozing while listening to some YouTube and then sleeping again.

@just4him Oh, very nice! I'm glad you were able to get a new phone. 
I got a new phone a few weeks ago. My old one was bought in 2018 and was starting to have problems... I made a mistake when I transferred everything from my old phone to the new one, though. None of my contacts transferred over.

@DaddyEvil Didn't they do that for you at the store? I'm sorry you lost your contacts. Looks like I need to send you a text message.
They took care of everything except my hearing aid connection. I now have one connected, but not both yet.

It was a good day. We went to Spectrum to get her an appointment to get her cable connection fixed. I asked about my phone problems and three hours later I left. She didn't wait that long. I needed to call my son's girlfriend as I'm on the four person plan with her and she's primary. I have a new phone.

That is chilly. We are having a light rain on and off. Grey skies. I had a rather dumb day, but my evening will be better. How'd the canasta go?

Here's the forecast for today:
Windy with on and off snow showers this morning. Then peeks of sunshine later. High -4°C. Winds NW at 30 to 50 km/h. Chance of snow 50%. Higher wind gusts possible.
Sounds, oh so lovely, doesn't it? NO! And I have to go out in it this afternoon for a special event at the Centre.

Even when I am not out running around, it can be hard to catch up here. I have so many survey sites I've been trying to earn points for Amazon cards. My bum gets tired sitting too much. Did surveys, thawed the refrigerator grills, and basic chores. Hope you enjoyed your day out.

That is really cold....I am glad we are not seeing it that cold yet, probably in January we will though.

@just4him Prefer to never see them lol! If my mom would be up to leave this state, I'd talk to my husband about moving somewhere warmer.

Because of a cold, and the snow, I changed my primary care appointment to a telehealth appointment this morning, and it went well. Right now, I’m trying to catch up on surveys to make a little money. Tomorrow will be busier, but today I’ll just keep recovering from this cold.

Sounds like another busy but fulfilling day for you. Kind of busy, am expecting someone here to replace the thermostat. Also, keeping up with my dad's hospitialization.
